I also recall and episode ( I cant remember which one) where a young Ryan O'Neill guest starred. Wally and his girl went over for dinner at the home of a newly married couple and Ryan O'Neill played the husband. That was only one a a few occasions(Including the Lee Meriweather episode and the Edgar Buchanan episodes--Captain Jack and Uncle Billy) where an actor/actress on LITB ever went on to become a well known star, or was already well known. But I think that part of the "magic" of the show came because most of the actors were not your typical famous personalities, and we saw the everyday life of Beaver played by everyday people.
