When 'The Osbournes' is shown in America does MTV bleep out all the swearing? Someone told me that they did.
When it's shown on MTV in the UK all the swearing is left in. I'm glad about that cos it'd get on my nerves having to listen to "BLEEEEP" every 5 seconds!

Ya they do! I hate it too. They bleep out the words sh-t and f-ck and is sucks!!! The beeping is sooooooo annoying! But I mean, they do on any other show too so....

TV stations in the UK are a lot more relaxed about bad language than TV stations in America.

But when we lived in an apartment with thin walls, it seemed the bleeps were VERY loud...I usually hadda turn the volume down during the 'bleep-fests'.

I would enjoy hearing it un-edited just once though.

That DOES suck...us Yanks have some weird puritanical ideas that these words (when heard or used) will send us right to hell! To that I say, 'Bollocks'! :lol:

I think the bleeps are kind of annyoing, but funny.

Even if they didn't bleep it out, you prolly wouldn't realize Ozzy's swearing...you can't understand him anyway...it would be like, "I-I-I d-d-don't g-g-g-give a f-f-f-fu-fu-ck-ck-ing sh-sh-sh-sh-it-it."

they also bleep out dick and c*unt i think. It will come out on DVD and tape soon and they will most definiately have an unedited version. They'll make millions. I would like to know how they sound cursing. Ive never heard a british person curse. They bleep out everything. prolly shmuck to. but he never says it. American people like to bleep lots of things. Ive seen shows that bleep out the word "damn"!

Well it's to bad they don't put the Osbournes on one of the pay cable channels like HBO or Shotime then we would be able to hear all the swearing.

But not all words are bleeped out here in the American there are a few swear words that can be used. But some that can't be used are the f word and the sh word. I don't understand why but those can't be used.

Although when ABC showed Private Ryan they didn't edit out any swear words the f word was used numerous times.

I wouldn't mind seeing it w/out the bleeps either. "Bad words" don't bother me. I don't say the gd word or the mf word, but the rest don't offend me. My gosh, on TV in the U.S, they'll show people jumping into bed every 5 min. or people getting killed, but God forbid someone says s***! I still think the bleeps are pretty funny though! :lol:
