I really think that Debra Messing deserves an emmy. She is the only cast member that hasn't won an emmy. She has won other awards for her role on W and G but she deserves won this year. I think for the episode where her and Nathan break up. When she trys to get him to marry her.
She had a great performance in that episode.

I love Debra but I think she's the weakest link and will probably not win a major award for her performance.

I would agree that Debra is the weakest link; however, sometime between this year and the final season of "Will & Grace" (which will hopefully be a long time from now), I think she will win the Emmy. :happyface :happyface :happyface

I don't think that Debra is the weakest link, W&G is so rare because the cast are as strong as each other, there is no true star, they are all brilliant.
Debra definatly deserves the Emmy this year as does Megan.

I know this thread is about Debra but I just wanted to post this so that all you fans know if you don't.
The Emmys were announced today and W&G has 13 nominations the most for a comedy series second place is Friends with 11.
Unfortunatley Eric was not nominated in his place is Bernie Mac, You know that guy from that Fox sitcom.

I don't think Bernie Mac is the one who really took Eric's place. It was more like the two friends actor. This is the first year they were considered lead actors, the other years they were supporting. So that changed everything. and Friends had a good year this year. I see Jennifer Aniston winning this year, i don't think Debra has a shot this year.
but i really did feel sorry for Eric. He's great on the show. but he won last year so he shouldn't feel too bad.

You know what? I was watching E News and they were saying this year the people who choose who should be nominated chose to put new shows in the this year. I guess that is why Bernie is now a nominee. But don't think just because Friends is in the ballots alot more this year means anyone from this season will lose. Just because of the Friends thing. Friends has been on for 8 years and only won three emmys. W&G have been on 4 years and have won 6 emmys.:D

I agree. I mean, I'm sorry, but Matthew Perry getting a nomination?!?! I definitely do not agree with Eric being tossed out and Matthew Perry being included. But that's only my personal opinion, though. :happyface :happyface :happyface

i do not get the matthew perry nomination. But you know what, Eric already has an Emmy. and Friends only has two more chances, so be it.

I agree Eric should not have been left out and then have Matthew put in. I watch Friends too and Eric is a much better actor than Matthew. No offense to any Matthew Perry fans. It's just an opinion.

And, yeah, I hope Debra gets an Emmy this year -- I have to say, I don't know what made me think that Grace was the weakest character on the show, becuz when I think about it, they are all so great, how can there be a weakest person? :happyface :happyface :happyface

I'm so disappointed, I heard Sean and Megan both lost their categories to Doris Roberts and Brad Garret from Everybody Loves Raymond. That sucks, they are so much better than both of those actors. Those emmy voters are pissing me off. I just hope Debra wins, she deserves to win. Gosh, she's been nominated 3 times, it is about time she wins. I'm crossing my finger for her.

I can't believe NO ONE from W&G won! They are such a talented ensemble, they all deserved to win. I can understand being beaten out in ONE category, maybe two, but all of them? That is VERY unfair to this incredibly well done show.

that Jennifer would win and not Debra. It's going to take a lot for Debra to win especially now since the creators are not even on the show anymore. Will and Grace has been getting beatin a live critics wise and the glory days may be over, well except for Sean and Megan.

I mean, for supporting actress, I would have liked Megan Mullally to have won (though I have to admit I was rooting for Wendie Malick when it came down to the last day). But Sean Hayes did not win and that just bothered me completely. No one deserves it more than him and he should have won. I'm sorry, but not only have I become very anti-Friends, but now I am also very anti-Raymond.

Debra will win some day, I have no doubts about that. She's such a talented performer..she just...can't go without an emmy, lol. Hopefully she'll win it next year.

Yea...I guess it just wasn't Will & Grace's Year...once Friends is gone I can really see it taking all the emmys.

I wouldn't say that. Even after Friends is gone their is still tough competition. Such as Sex and the City and Everybody Loves Raymond. I think those two shows will be the real tough competition.
