I only have three sites on my favourites list - Sitcoms Online, my inbox and a discussion forum for the British reality TV show 'I'm a Celebrity....Get Me Out of Here!"
In case any of you had noticed that I'd been absent from Chit Chat for the past 2 weeks it's because I'd been spending all my time discussing 'I'm a Celebrity...." on that forum. The show has finished now but it's been the major talking point in the UK media for the past few weeks. You Americans should watch out cos ITV (the UK channel that ran the show) is selling the idea to American channels so you guys could be seeing your own version of the show on a TV near you by next year!.
You heard it hear first! :D

ITV got 8 British celebrities and packed them off to the Australian jungle to live there, by themselves, for two weeks. The resulting mayhem was then filmed and broadcast to the British public on primetime TV.
When I first heard about the show I thought it sounded really dumb (I'm not a fan of reality TV). I only watched it cos one of the celebrities taking part was Rhona Cameron - a Scottish comedian whom I've been a fan of for years.
I know you'll have probably never heard of any of these people but the celebs taking part were:
Rhona Cameron (comedian)
Darren Day (actor/singer)
Nigel Benn (retired boxer)
Tony Blackburn (DJ)
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson (IT-girl)
Nell McAndrew (model)
Christine Hamilton (wife of Tory MP, Neil Hamilton)
Uri Gellar (magician/general wierd guy)
For the first week, the public have to phone and vote for which celebrity they want to take part in the 'Bush Tucker Trial". The Bush Tucker Trails are really horrible tasks which the chosen celebrity must complete in order to get food for the rest of the group. If they fail, the celebrities get no food. The nastiest bush tucker trails saw Uri Gellar having to eat live bugs and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson get covered in buckets of maggots!
In the second week, each night the public must vote for the celebrity that they want to stay on the show. The celeb with the least votes each night gets evicted from the camp. The last celeb left in the camp at the end of the two weeks is crowned King or Queen of the Jungle!
All the money raised from the public calling in and voting goes to charity.
It was an extremely entertaining 2 weeks and there was much to talk about so I hope you'll all forgive me for not having time to come to Chit Chat aswell. Highlights of the show included Rhona (who's gay) trying to chat up Tara (who's not), Uri trying to get it on with every woman in the camp (including Rhona!), and Nigel threatening to beat up Rhona cos she's gay. There's was also a lot of log related madness going on in the camp in the last few days (don't ask).
Log-tastic mate!
