Hitchhikers' Guide To The Galaxy

I began reading this book this week and I think it's hilarious. Has anyone else read Hitchhikers' Guide To The Galaxy? I was also wondering if the book was ever made into a movie or not. I think the book would make a great film.:crazy: :happyface Does anyone know if there is a movie based on the book?:confused:

I dunno about a movie but the BBC made a series out of it in the 80's. The entire series is now available on DVD in the UK. I'm sure you wouldn't have any problem getting a copy of it over the net - you'll just need to get a DVD player that's been modified to play Region 2 (European) DVD's.
