Whitey's Parents

I saw the episode where Beaver gets caught in the giant bowl of soup, and noticed something odd about Whitey's parents. I've seen this episode many times but when Whitey's parents came on I couldn't believe how old they looked! His father had white hair and looked about 65 and the mother seemed to be in her late 40's. Also, Wally was having a little party at his house, just his friends over, and yet he was dressed up in a suit and tie and so were his friends. Plus only in the 50s I guess, could you have a kid named "Whitey".

I noticed that about Whiteys' parents too. In the episode where Wally goes up north with the Boy Scouts, Beaver has nothing to do and goes over to Whiteys' house. His mom answers the door and she is young and attractive. Obviously a different actress than the one in the soup episode. About the clothing, the Cleaver boys ALWAYS wore suits and ties when they went to parties as well as out to dinner, school functions etc. Times sure have changed.
