Yes! Oh my God. It makes me feel like I'm stupid or something. Honestly, sometimes I'd like to slap Caitlin because she does that at me!
[no offense, babes ;)]
You might have guessed -- I dont like those dang things one bit! Karli, isn't that the thing you used about 250 of all at once in some post? My computer got trapped in that mess. I couldn't escape! I had to turn it off to get out of there. You and somebody were sharing a hissy fit.

Ah, yes. I tend to have hissy fits a lot.
And yes, I had to restart my computer to get out of it too!

You're not alone Amanda! Those annoy the crap out of me too. And these sayings also do too... I cant stand it when someone says "ummm okay" to me. And "mm hmm". It was okay at first when Kaley said but now everyone does and its reaaaally annoying. Okay I'm done :D

I personally don't care if someone uses smilies or not. I think they're pereety cute.

Smilies are fun in small doses. I like to use them. But too many at once can be annoying.
What I can't stand are those mile-long signatures that fill my entire monitor screen. They really bog down the computer load, and also have a tendency to obscure a person's post.
I have my preferences set to not display them. :nonono:

The rolling eyes one is pretty annoying but I really like this one :p
And for the mile-long siggy's, well I have one... but it's not as bad as it used to be.

Jesus, I really hate that damn  ! Actually, I think it's kind of offensive. I mean, if somebody doesn't like something you post or whatever, then they might post a reply with one of those smilies with the rolling eyes. Personally, I get offended when someone rolls their eyes at me cuz it makes me feel stupid and unimportant, like what I have to say means nothing at all. And another thing that I find offensive is when someone says "I don't care!" Like, if I got an A on a test [HAHAHA, that rarely happens] and I told somebody about it, and if they said "I don't care!" I would be a little hurt by it. A while ago, I was talking to my dad about ER and I was so excited about the season premiere. I was like "Dad! ER season premiere is in a few weeks! I can't wait!" and he said, "I don't care!" OUCH! That kinda... hurt.

I don't actually think anyone has ever directed a  at me. Although, if I think about it I would probably be a bit annoyed if they did. I've rolled-eyes at a few people on this board but on those occasions I felt it was justified.
Put it this way - if I read a post and it makes me roll my eyes, then it'll get a  from me on the boards!

It's most annoying when people don't use it right. - It's rolling it's eyes because it's annoyed with something or someone, yet I keep running into people that use it on happy posts. Like, for example, someone asks "What's your favorite color" in a post. But their first post is  So do you care about my answer or not?!

They don't bother me too much. I'm too lazy to use them much myself though. The really loooong signatures bother me more than the smilies.

I'm sorry; I use the smilies in almost every post. But for you all, I won't on this post!

It depends. They don't bother me if they're not directed at me.
For example, if someone says "I have fifty pages of math work
to do" and follow it with rolling eyes....it doesn't bother me at
all. But...I have to admit that I get mad when people use
it as a reply to something I post. I always thought it was funny
and laughed at myself for getting pissed off over a little emoticon.
thingy.

Am I the only one who isn't bothered by them? I don't know, I've never had the rolling eyes directed at me and I hardly ever use them so I barely notice them.

Welp, by Amanda's standards, it's bad. By Caitlin's, it's good. I mean I don't mind if someone does it to me, as long as it doesn't make me feel like a complete moron.
