Anyone afraid to fly, whether it be overseas or not? I'm not afraid at all! I LOVE planes! Well, maybe a little less after 9/11, but I always liked flying. The only thing I hate is delays. My longest delay was an hour and 45 minutes. The scariest experince I was told about was when my mom and my brother were at the airport, and the plane was late, so they told everyone that there was a bomb on the plane and for everyone to evacuate. Well it turned out there was NO bomb, and my mom was mad because my brother was only 3 at the time. It didn't happen to me, but pretty scary for them. Anyone have any bad experience w/ airplanes?

I hate to fly. I've hated flying for years and years. It's one of my biggest fears.
As far as airports go though, I think they're facinating. Great place to watch people and study human nature!

Umm, I don't really like planes because the flying makes my ears hurt, but I don't HATE them. Airports are kind of fun. When I was little my brother used to make me memorize signs as a game to pass the time. LOL

I guess you can say I grew up on airplanes. The first one I was on I was 1 and we flew overseas to Japan. I flew many times back and forth to the states by the time I was 5.
I didn't fly again until I was around 15. That was on a jumbo plane. The next time I flew it was myself and my sister and I was about 17. We had to fly on an itty bitty plane. There were a total of 15 people on the plane including the pilot and copilot. lol
That was a scarry plane ride because the plane was SO small.
I've flown several times since Sept. 11th, and I've had no problems at all. The security lines haven't been bad at all either. I love the view from the air :)

Yep, airports are fun. And for those of you who don't like flying, you should read the book, "Flying Is Fun!" Yes, that's a quality Golden Book. There's this boy who lives in the country and he goes on a plane to visit his cousin in the city. The boy's grandmother bakes him some biscuits to take on the plane. They look like little rocks in the security camera thing that your bags have to go through. I like that book! LOL :D

I love flying! I havent flown since 9-11 cuz i havent had the opportunity, but has anyone else noticed that the people at the airport havent changed that much? You know how we were supposed to get security and all? We did, but people still go in the boarding zone with their bags and everything and the flight attendant people don't even say anyhing! OK I just noticed that when we went to pick my aunt up.

I kinda noticed that too. Some people are such idiots. They think they can just bring these humongous bags and expect to get them on- AND THEY DO!!
Except for the fact that I got patted down and checked with that wand thing twice, once in DSM, once in Phoenix.

I love to fly if i could fly to work in the morning instead of having to get the tube it would be great,my ears also pop but i love flying. Even after september 11th my first flight was to New York in November and i had no problems with that.My longest delay has been 6hrs and 50 mins SO FAR at Malaga airport in Spain, but i just sat in the bar so i managed to keep my self amused, flying is the safest way to travel so the stats say i have to say i have never had a bad flight and i fly regularly every year at least 2 wice a year abroad and up and down to Scotland at least 6 times a year so the answer t your question is
I:heart:     Flying
I'm not crazy about flying, but I love airports. I love going there, baggage claims and everything, the restaurants, then landing in a different airport sometimes where they don't speak English. Flying is fun but it gets boring. Okay, I'm weird, I know.

I absolutely HATE to fly! I hate the sensation and I'm always afraid we're going to crash or get hijacked or something. (This was long before September 11. I've always had that fear.) I don't care for airports either.
This is very strange considering what one of my all-time favorite TV shows is

Airports are the best! I love them! I also love flying really early in the morning, but since September 11, i think that i would be looking at the sky and be thinking, "The sky looks like it did that morning." or something along that line.

I love it! I rarely ever fly on a plane. Maybe once every 3 years at the most. the only bad thing is I get bad motion sickness so I have to take claritin every time I get on the plane. Yes, that does help A LOT for motion sickness. I really want to fly someplace RIGHT now.

I hate flying. I've flown many times, but not for years. I developed a fear of flying about seven years ago. After 9/11, forget it. Those planes that crashed into the Towers took off from Boston's Logan Airport.

Taking off RULES. Its just so fun.
Landing is a pain in the neck though. My ears were cloggee for like 2 days after i was on a plane once cause of DUMB LANDING

I haven't had a problem with landings, but usually around that time I just want to hurry up and get off the plane.

Always been afraid of flying, myself. Havent been on a plane before, but it's just that constant thought that your plane will be the one in a million that goes down. Maybe less people die in planes than in cars and such, but if something goes wrong with that plane you are almost definetly a goner...Which is completely different with automobiles.
