Describe your house/apartment/mobile home, etc.

I live in a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath tri-level house that was built in 1974. Nothing fancy but nice. I have a nice shady yard finally after waiting years for the trees to grow! Never got that swimming pool though! We bought an R V instead!:) We live sort of in the country but only 5 miles from the mall and everything else! Very handy!

Uh... Ok. My house has 4 floors. A cellar, 1st floor, 2nd floor, then an attic. Only one bathroom! *faints* It's horrible. But then ok we have a kitchen and living room that you could land an airplane in, but the bedrooms and bathroom are small. Well my room is big but everyone elses is cramped and small. We have a nice size backyard with a swimming pool, a huge open front porch, and a nice side yard. Mine was built back in the early 1800's. You can tell because whenever you walk up any set of stairs, they creak like heck!

And this is smack in the middle of a huge city.

I'm in a 2 story house that my mom got in 1983, it has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, kitchen, garage, laundry room, and a fun room. In the back yard we have a play thing which I used in the 1980's and early '90's also a LARGE swimming pool which I haven't used in probably 7 years. The reason the house is so big is because my dad makes alot of money and a long time ago alot of people used to live with us and some of them have died over the years and some got old enough to move out. My mom's mom, my grandmother, used to live here in 1983-1988 because she lost her home and died in 1988.

My home is a tri level (not counting attic). We have a furnished basement with a pool table and computer room (used to be the play room when I was a kid, then it was the rabbit room when we had rabbits (lots o' room to hop around!) ), and a sitting area with TV. The pantry and my father's workshop are down here too. The main floor has the kitchen, living room, family room, half bath, and laundry/animal room (litterbox and food dishes). Upstairs there's 2 bedrooms, a den, a full bath, and the master suite w/ bath. There's a nice sized yard both in front and back, with a patio, shed, and garden in back.

My current college apartment/townhome also has 3 levels. Downstairs is the sitting room and the kitchen. Second floor has 2 bedrooms and a bath. 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms, a bath, a hall closet, and a porch.

But I'm moving into a different college apartment this fall. It's a one bedroom but it's HUGE and it even has a basement. I love it already and I haven't even lived there yet! Hope I'm not disappointed! The shower is really really tiny though. :(

Two story Cape Cod. It has an attic, but the moron assessors consider the upstairs only half a story. There's a bedroom, half bath, and family room (which I turned into my own personal living room) upstairs. Ground floor is the kitchen, two more bedrooms, a full bath, and the living room. Basement is unfurnished. It was built in 1976. Nothing fancy by any means, but we finally got rid of the stupid orange shag carpet last year! We live on the corner, so our backyard isn't really a backyard. The unattached garage is behind the house.

I don't know why everyone is always so down on shag carpeting. I kind of like it! (I guess it can be more of a pain to clean though, like if you stain it). My parents just redecorated the living room, and they saved the carpeting for me to use in my new apartment (which is all hardwood floors). My place is gonna feel so 70s with the pale green shag carpet! And whenever they get around to redecorating the upstairs hallway, I get some blue shag carpeting too!

My home is very nice and comfy. I decorated it myself;) It has one main level and then a lower level, so I guess you might could call it a two story. It is located about 5-7 feet underground. The 'carpeting' ranges from 'sandy' color to that of 'clay.' The walls are all a 'brown' color and some contain tints of 'green' here and there. The main level contains the area where I just hang out and do who knows what. There is also a small kitchen in this area. It's a rather large, yet comfy, room-took some time to 'set up.' The lower level room, which really isn't lower it just drops off so...is my room. It contains my comfy bed, better known as a cot, a comfy couch with the huge basket arms that I sometimes get lost in, and my TV and VCR.
...There is also another area where I hang out and get on the computer and everything, but it's above ground and nothing to brag about. In fact, it's where I am now and all the fresh air is getting to me so I'm gonna head back to my comfy lil hole;) Hole sweet hole:D

I live in a 3 level house 10 miles out of town. The basement has 1 bathroom, a half kitchen, a furnace room, a gun/freezer room, family room or as I call it the entertainment room with a pool table (Fisher Price pool table) and my dads band equipment, an exercise room and a guest bed room. The main floor has 1 bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, living room, dinning room and a computer room or as my dad calls it the office. The top level has 3 bedroom 2 are mine well ever since my brother moved out 1 bathroom, hallway, 2 attics and a little library room which we store all our books and or old toys. And our 2 car garage is attached with a attic.

My house is 2 stories not including the attic, with 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathsrooms. We have a game room, kitchen, family room, dinning room, computer room, den and some kind of weird little room all the way in the back of the house. Toward the front of the house is the garage and outside is a big oak tree with a broken swing. Our backyard is weird cuz it sits on a hill, so i kind of has levels. On one part is where we have an old play set and a basketball thing, then down more is my moms garden, then further down at the bottom is the pool with a built in jacoozy(sp) and some lawn furniture and a built in bar-b-que pit surounded by trees and bushes.

I've got 2 floors ( 4 counting basement and attic ). When you walk in the basement door is to the left and the bathroom is to the right. There is a cooking part of the kitchen and an eating part and our computer is in the corner of the eating part. The family room is really huge and we just got a new huge TV. We USED to have a dining room, but we moved my brothers bedroom in there so now we don't have a living room anymore cos that's where the dining room table is... there's a piano in that room too (and it NEEDS to be tuned). Upstairs, my room is the 1st one, its the biggest and the cleanest (i gots a TV, VCR, computer (a really old and ugly one) a cd player, and a playstation) then is my mom and dad's room which is SMALL then is the other bathroom which is kinda big and then is my sisters room which is REALLY REALLY small. Now our attic is fulla crap and no room to move, so... and the basement hasn't been redone yet. That's a tour of my house :p
And in the yard, we gots a big yard w/ a pool, a swingset thingie, and .... well, lotsa room.

My house is really small. I also have the smallest room ever. My bed takes up half of the space.

A bedroom, restroom, and a kitchen that's connected to the livingroom, and the so-called "dinning room." (It's merely a hallway...) It's a really small apartment.

I wished I had my own room. :crying:

Okay, in my old house (My favorite) we had 2 floors. The Main level and the basement (But we remodeled it, so it's like an apartment :D ) Upstairs, we had a huge Kitchen/Dining room and also a really big Living room. There was a bathroom and 3 pretty good sized rooms upstairs. Then downstairs, we have another big kitchen, a laundry room, a huge Living room w/ a dry bar, and 3 bedrooms, smaller than upstairs. Then We had a deck outside connected to the house and a garage, a garden, 5 trees, flowers & flowers, and of course, a hose! LOL

But now our house is a lot smaller. It's a one floor. The Living room is too big! The Master bedroom and Office/Lobby are really big, along w/ the laundry room. But the bathroom, kitchen, and 2 other bedrooms are small. And then we have a Gazebo and Hot Tub right outside along w/ some flowers, trees, and A HUGE parking lot. Then we have 27 guest rooms all around the parking lot. -sigh- I really, really miss our old house. I had the basement ALL TO MYSELF! Ya know how nice that was?

Hmmm ok well i live in a 2-story house..there are 5 rooms that can be used as bedrooms although I *still* have to share a room with my sister..oh well... OK and it has this small, pathetic little backyard that has a balcony..and...hmm, it's always a mess! That's my house!

well...i am currently living in a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment...ooh...ahh....my parents keep saying we're gonna move and they've been saying it for like 2 years but we're finally gonna...i hope. i have my own room...it's not big enough for my lovely computer so it is in my parents/sisters room where i currently am. and to my *thinks* left...is the bathroom that no one but me uses...sad..my own parents don't use the bathroom in their room...of course the shower broke on sunday ....then u walk outta my parents room and ur in the hall...to your left is my room..to your right is the bathroom...the washing place is actually in the hall...kinda like hotels...and then there's a bathroom...then there's the living room and dining room...lol. that's....where i live...how depressing...:D

I live in a bungalow so it's only one storey. There's a massive cellar under the house which could probably be turned into a decent living space if my father didn't have to use it for storing our cars.
My house is built on a hill so (this is kinda hard to explain without showing you a picture) you can actually walk into the cellar at the front of the house but when you stand at the very back of the cellar you're actually underground. When you look out the windows at the front of the house, you're actually the equivalent of one storey up but when you look out the back windows, because of the slope the house is on, it's like you're just the regular height above ground level (that probably didn't make any sense!). Cos the house is higher up at the front we have an amazing veiw of the Loch. From our balcony you can see right up and down the Loch perfectly!
The front door is on the balcony, the back door is actually a bit of a misnomer cos it's round the side of the house. Again, because of the slope, you need to go up some stairs to get to the back door. When you walk in the back door, you're immediately in the kitchen/dining room. The dining room is hardly ever used for 'dining' - my parents eat in the living room, I eat in my bedroom.
Naturally, my room is the coolest room in the house! :D It's a total paradise - widescreen TV, DVD player, Hi-fi, VCR, digital satalite TV, sofa/bunkbed, guitars and amplifier! All my TV equipment is sitting on a snazzy black unit in the corner.
My house has 3 bedrooms but one of them has been converted into a study (which is where I'm sitting right now) cos my father is self-employed and he needs somewhere to do his paperwork. We've got 2 bathrooms but one of them is joined on to my parents room so they're the only people who use it.
Our garden is pretty big. We've got a big concrete space to the side of the house where we keep the caravan and my dad parks the Land Rover next to it (my mother's car is in the cellar). We live in a fairly rural area so there is woodland on both sides of us. There are a couple of other houses behind us and then the hill gets really steep and is just used for farmland. Further up the hill this just turns into woodland and then, right at the top of the hill, there's an old disused slate quarry. The veiws from up there have to be seen to be believed...........but I'm getting offtopic: now!

Umm, my house has walls, and a ceiling, and floors... Pretty cool, huh? :D Ok, uh, I have my own room. I don't do much in there because, well, the only place you can see the floor is where I've cleared a path from my door to my bed. Yeah, that should give you an idea of how messy my room is. My house is a nice size. My old house was pretty small. I think one of the reasons we moved was because my room was actually a sewing room...yeah, so you couldn't actually fit a bed in there. Once I outgrew my crib...well, it wasn't good. ;)
