Do those of u still in school have to take the SAT-9 achievement tests? It might be called something else where you guys live. We're starting ours tomorrow & it's gonna be BORING! Oh well, school's supposed to be boring. :rolleyes:

We have SATS here, but we dont take 'em till the ninth grade---I think.

We are starting our ISAT (Illinois Standard Achievement Test) tomorrow. Ugh..I'm gonna suck. I got a cold and I can't think straight. Shoot me now.

Ew. And us 7th graders just HAD to be the ones to do the Long Compsition this year

the only "test" i have commin up is a social quiz wednesday :D

We only take standanized testing in grades 3,6,8, and 10 here. You have to pass the one in 10th grade to graduate. Then if you're going to college you take the SATs usually when you're a senior I think.

Then of course there is always finals at the end of each semester. I'm dreading them at the end of this semester!!:eek: On the last day of school I will be taking finals in my four hardest classes, Spanish 2, Honors Earth Science, Algebra 2, and English. All of those hard finals on the last day of school! Thats not right!

usually i have the stanford nine mid april-beginning may. but this year since i'm going to a high school we're taking em at the end of may. it's gonna take us 2 days...probably. i dunno if we go to any other classes except for homeroom or what but...and then we have finals like a week after...sux to me...:D

lucky!!! i am sorry last year when i took mcas it was so fun cuz for 2 weeks we did nothing but testing and it always ended early and we had parties in homeroom...it was great....and the test were easy so it was like wow a waste of time! heh

Well, my school started testing on the achievement tests today. We did the reading vocab., reading comprehension, and social science. They are harder this year!!! This is my last year taking them, but if we don't get a high enough score, we don't get a "warranted" diploma when we graduate! It was so funny today cause my school tries to bribe us! Our teachers gave us "testing first aid kits" w/ candy like smarties & hershy chocolate. The little first-aid bags also had erasers & pencils & stickers LOL! Well, I gotta go write a paper TTYL

We take the standford 9 in April and that's the only test we have to take except for the high school exit exame which I already took.
