do you ever notice that on sitcoms tomboys names are always like a name that can be both a boy and girls name...i means it not weird....but still in a sense it is...you know...i think the tv people are trying to give you a sense of their "toughness" or w/e


im bored and that was jus an observation i made...here are a couple examples

that's just what they call them. there full names are only ment for girls:

yah i know...but still the name that went by...could have gone either way... w/e though

Though not a sitcom, Kristy McNichol on "Family" was called Buddy. Her real name was Leticia.:)

On "Bewitched", Darrin Stevens usually called his wife "Sam", rather than "Samantha".

On Who's the Boss?, a lot of times Samantha was called Sam.
