"All In the Family," by a mile.

"The Jeffersons" wasn't bad the first year, but it went downhill quickly after Nicholl/Ross/West left (not to mention Mike Evans). By the end of its run the writing was so bad that people who had written for it had trouble getting hired on decent shows.

the Jeffersons. All in the family is great, but I like the Jeffersons better.
