What do you think of the show "Queer as Folk?" Do you think it is good or bad and why?

I've seen half of one episode at my aunt's house. (she has showtime, I dont)
I liked it. It had good stories and good characters.
Mom wont let me get Showtime, cuz it costs too much. But I'd like to see it again.
