It's official folks, the man behind such classics as "Iron Man and "Bark At The Moon" is TV's coolest Dad!!

"The Osbournes," according to a recent New York Times article, is the biggest hit in MTV history, with last week's episode drawing six million viewers!
Some prime time series can't get that kind of viewership!

Of course, there is a downside...
The article goes on to say that Scott Sassa, president of NBC's West Coast division, has instructed his staff to seek similar material for NBC.

In other words, get ready for a ton of "celebrity at home" ripoff shows this Fall!

Still, congrats to The Osbournes, the most disfunctionally functional family on TV!

I can't believe that the Osbournes passed up The Real World in viewership. Especially since The Real World is supposed to be the lead in.

This show is absolutely great and, though it is so good, it is surprising and impressive that an MTV series could draw over 6 million viewers. Good job, Ozzy! :happyface :happyface :happyface

I love this new show it is so funny just to see how Ozzy looks so frale. If you look how he moves he is like an 80year old man. those drugs in his past must have screwed him up. And by the way I think that The Real World is great to I have my whole hour of television on Tuesday nights with MTV.

Word on the street is that the Osbourne clan is on board for a second season of family fun.

Awsome!

Yeah, it drew in over EIGHT million viers on a later episode. That's great!
