Does anyone remember "Mckeever & The Colonel"? As a kid, I thought it was the best TV show!! What ever happened to Scott Lane?

I remember being madley in love wit Mckeever!

I remember seeing reruns of it on some UHF station in our area, about 66 or 67, but I too can't find any info. about it anywhere.
