View Full Version : Sitcom created to just bash other shows and help its network, but still its good.
the new ABC show called Wednesday 9:30(8:30 central) premiered and I like. Its a neat insite on network executives lives, in a funny way, lol. Anyway. Already within 20 minutes of hte show I heard alot of good and bad about tv shows, more so from different networks, like the show Yes Dear. And the characters says "now thats a bad show" right there thats help for ABC and a point lost for CBS. ABC is taking it to the next level, lol. Anyway, its a good show. And I see more bashing of other network shows in the future, lol.

They're right about that show Yes, Dear. It's horrible. Has anyone noticed that like 3 of the cast members on Yes, Dear were on sitcoms on NBC that failed before???
I like Yes Dear, in my opinion its a good show, not the best, but good, alittle different and interesting. It kind of completes the Monday lineup for CBS.
All four cast members have been from a canceled NBC show. Anthony Clark-Greg was on Boston Common which lasted 2 seasons, Mike O'Malley-Jimmy had a show that lasted two episodes-the Mike O'Malley show-one of the worst shows I have ever seen, Lisa Synder-Christine was on the 2 year show Jesse, and Jean Louisa Kelly-Kim was on Cold Feet which only lasted 1 season.
But now they have all found success, lol. Yes Dear was certainly a sleeper hit, but hey so what, it is a good show, lol. ALittle annoying at times, but good.
Shows like this "Wednesday" thing are created when they can't think of an actual concept, so they think it's funny if they poke fun at themselves, the "wacky people behind the scenes".
I'm all for a good satire of the Movie biz, TV, Network News, and there have been some good ones, but this isn't one of them.
There is a differece between real comedy and a bunch of half assed "Yes Dear sucks" jokes.
If the creators and writers of this show really had some stones, they'd have the cast of "Wednesday" make jokes about the horrible stench that is coming from ABC's lineup.
Now cancel this piece of crap, and put "The Job" back on! The best comedy on ABC!
Here ends this month's anti Network rant.
