anybody here a vegetarian or tried being a vegetarian? i am. my mom is not too thrilled about it. she thinks it's like a diet...please...it's called a healty lfetsyle (that girl on er said it..the name is escaping me at the moment). yep. :D

I'd like to be a vegetarian since I think it's wrong to eat meat but I love KFC too much!

I'm a vegetarian. It is a healthier lifestyle, but only if you eat the right foods so you don't miss important nutrients.

Nope, I'm not a veggie, nor would I consider ever becoming one for the following reasons -

* I like eating meat waaaaaaay too much to give it up.
* The people I know who are veggies are always in really bad health and it's precisely because there is no meat in their diet.
* Going out for a meal with someone who is a veggie is one of the most aggrivating experiences cos they drag you from restaurant to restaurant complaining that they won't eat there cos everything on the menu has meat in it..........or it's cooked in animal fat...........or the veggie dishes are prepared less than 3 feet away from where the meat is cooked...........or they don't use free-range eggs..............blahblahblah.
* People who stand there and tell me that humans weren't meant to eat meat annoy me. See those teeth in your mouth? The sharper, pointed ones? The ones commonly referred to as "incisors"? There are there for the sole purpose of tearing meat! Now stop complaining and get that burger down your throat!!! :rolleyes:

By all means, if someone chooses not to eat meat, that's cool cos it's their choice. They just better not lecture me cos I do eat meat. All my vegitarian friends always, always lecture me about eating meat and it really drives me mad!

i don't eat eggs....i can't. i was bored in the car one day and then thought that they were un-hatched chickens and then i never ate em..lol. i eat a lotta soy beans and soy milk though. and a cheese sandwhich a day. :D
