Has anyone seen this show? It is really good. It stars Nathan Lane as an opera star who has lost his voice and goes back home to live with his vinyard owning family. It aired on NBC in 1998 for a season and is repeated every weekday on Bravo at 4:00.
Encore Encore was a good show. It would have been a good follow up to Frasier, mostly because it had a pacing and dry wit like Frasier.
NBC was stupid to cancel it so quickly.
Nathan Lane is currently working on a new sitcom.

I watched it when it first premiered on NBC. I'm not sure why they cancelled it, I thought it was a good show.
These Networks(FOX,NBC,CBS,ABC), they don't give shows time to find an audience.

Ah, so true, so true.
It's rare nowadays that the networks give sitcoms a chance to grow and find an audience. Now it seems if a new show doesn't cut it after four episodes, it's history.
