My grandmother loves to read those popular
supermarket magazines ( rags is what I call them ) and the many of books about Hollywood. Going through them of course one will find many of stories. Has anyone else heard of the following?

*Kim Fields from the Facts Of Life is so broke that the IRS took away her car and was close to taking her home.

* Olivia Newton John is near death as she is losing her battle with breast cancer ( I myself havent seen any recent photos of Olivia but I heard a few years back that she had BEATEN cancer).

* the father from the show ALF was seen at a party smoking crack ( and doing other drugs )and having sex with other men. National Enquier had pics of this but one never knows if they were staged or not. I remember reading on TV Party before they start charging money that Roger C. carmel from the Mothers In Law & Star Trek shows did the same thing with a male hooker, only he OD'd and died in 86.

*Madonna was upset that a child asked for her autograph. So upset that she actually hit the child. This supposed to happen in Spain ( or somewhere ).

*Ted Turner hates The Dukes so much that he paid for the rights of the show and vowed they will be destroyed. Same thing I heard about Bill Cosby with Fat Albert and even The Little Rascals, though I have seen the latter pop up on AMC recently.

*Tony Dow is suffering from cancer while Jerry Mathers The Bev is having heart troubles. I heard the Bev has lost a lot of weight thanks to Jenny Craig but from what I read he has since gained it all back and now weighs even more.

*Ralph Carter from Good Times now has full blown AIDS. ( On the Good Times section I read that he had the HIV Virus but according to my cousin she read that it is now full blown AIDS, she also read that Carter is gay
though I myself never heard that rumor many of these magazines and other gossip forums
still try to link someone with HIV/Aids to being gay.

* This happened years ago but did Stacy Webb
the daughter of Jack Webb ( Dragnet ) and Julie London ( Emergency ) died in a car crash that invloved a police car from the LAPD? I read that in the Enquier. If true talk about something being ironic!!!

What do you think? Do you believe any of these stories are true? Know of any other wild rumors in reguards involving sitcom/music stars. Many of them I have a very hard time believing it is. I remember watching on tv a show that went behind the scenes of the Star and the Enquier. Very sleazy how they do business.

I think the Tony Dow and cancer one is true. I heard on Entertainment Tonight he had prostate cancer, I hope he is doing better. I know Jerry Mathers has diabetes, but I don't know if he has heart problems.

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

2 are true.

Stacy Webb ( Jack Webb's daughter ) WAS killed in a car crash in 1996. That was in Jack Webb's Bio that came out a few years ago. The part about the other car being from the LAPD, that I dont know.

Max Wright who played the father from ALF
I believe came out as a homosexual recently.
I have a good friend who is gay and he tells me that he has seen photos of him having sex with men in various porno magazines. The part about him doing drugs, again that I never heard of.

I'm sure some of those stories may be "half" true. For example Kim Fields MAY have money troubles and Olivia Newton John DID have breast cancer while Ralph Carter DOES have HIV but having the IRS take away the house, the grim reaper coming soon to take Olivia, and Michael being gay. Those parts chances are may be false.

Don't forget about those Bill Clinton and Jesse Jackson scandals. Those tabloid magazines are the ones that brought all these to the surface.
