Happy Vernal Equinox or First Day of Spring Everyone!

I didn't even know that it was the first day of spring until I walked into science D period and my teacher had "Happy Vernal Equinox Everyone" written all over the board. *Sighs* What a science nerd!

Yea, at exactly 12:16 p.m., my psychology teacher told us that it was officially Spring! And then he said that at that exact moment, you can get an egg to stand up, just beacuse of the placement of the Earth and Sun, or somthing like that. I wanted to try, but I was in the middle of class. :(

Well, I don't want to brag, but this Colorado weather is actually cooperating with us for once! It was a beautiful day with a temperature in the high 50's. It was cold all last week and it even snowed! (I know you're thinking I live in CO, snow is not biggie. Well I live in the desert Soutwest of CO, where we hardly get any snow at all. We didn't get it all winter, and we just got it a week ago. I really don't like this rapid weather change. You could be in school in the morning at 20 degrees and then you're sweating in the afternoon in the 50's! From my neck of the woods, when it snowed, it stayed for months! :lol: ) Anywho, sorry for all of you out on the east coast. :( At least I'm having a good first day of spring! :cool: I heard it was like in the 60's in Denver! :eek2:

welp, we had to make decorations for the children's hospital today and thats when he said to make spring decorations because it is well uhh spring LOL. So i like wrote "Happy Spring" on it and 100% spring and..ooops rambling! :D
