If you ask me, it's seriously getting to a point in which there's absolutely no interest in the Emmys at all. It's truely becoming a bigger and bigger afterthought without any value to come up with other than to continue to kick around the subjects of terrorism. It's not going to help matters if the show is going to seriously let the crisis so to speak completely control the mood and the way that the show functions all around. The first reason explain why the show will go on is due to the possibilities that CBS will lose a lot and I mean a lot of money if the show isn't broadcast. Another thing to think about is that I would bet that most of the public doesn't remember any of the names of the shows and people who got nominated at all.

I think it was mentioned before, that a very popular place being looked at right now is a Military post to help boost moral. I forget the name, but one is being seriously considered. It was the same base that Bob Hope started his comedy thing at to help boost moral. Another popular choice is a hotel ballroom.

They've decided on such small places because they do not want a huge audience, nor do they want it to be so obvious comedic like before. (You won't see Ellen DeGeneres chasin' after a plane in this one or anything like that).

I completely agree with their decision to continue with the Emmy's if it is at a military base to help boost moral. However, I do not want it to go in if it's in a hotel ballroom to help clutter space on a television schedule.
