I think it's good that it did cancel/postpone itself. Several celebrities would have undoubtably not attended today. Also, the Emmy's would have had to give way to breaking news coverage. Anyways, Les Moonves has announced (although we are sure it is cancelled) that right now it is listed as being postponed while they are quickly trying to figure out what is to happen. (Again, it is likely cancelled, but OFFICIALLY it is not, at least not yet). Many celebrities agree, including people who were to cover the Emmy's for E! Entertainment Television, that this was the best move to make at this time. it's best that people tune into their news at this time and not worry about the Emmys.

I Don't Really CARE For the Emmys anyway. They nominate shows that barely anyone watchs! And it's always the same shows winning EVERY year!

Isn't that the truth! It's so predictible! I usually just watch for the in-between things, like tributes to those that have passed on and such.

The only reason I was going to watch the Emmys was to see and tape the Carroll O' Connor tribute.
