“The Takeover, Part II”
Episode 7 of Gopher’s Gateway
Part 2 of 2

Ms. Toomey was awaken by the hiss of a hypospray into her neck. She attempted to sit up, but was restrained. “Lie still, it’s me.” An unfamiliar voice said.
“Who are you?” she asked.
“I am the Emergency Medical Hologram of the shuttlecraft Hawking. You have been injured. Lie still.” Her vision now cleared to see his face.
“What happened?”
A friendly voice responded. “June Gabert and her allies took over the school and they detonated the gym. I transferred my program to this room before I was taken hostage.”
“You mean you are another hologram?”
“Yes. Sean Two, as I am called. Doctor, how are your other patients?”
“They are merely sleeping. All injuries have been treated.”
“Who are they?” asked Ms. Toomey.
In response, the holographic doctor opened and tapped on a hidden LCARS console and a door opened, revealing a starfleet-model sick bay. “Tiffany Kynard, Liz Larson, and Amy Ross, three allies we were able to beam out before Acting Principal Stacie Tucker ordered the transporter off.”
“So, what do we do?”
“We formulate a plan and try to take back Hueytown.” Sean Two proclaimed as the lights suddenly blinked out.

Sean Sporman beamed back on to the bridge, with all the people who had been there only minutes earlier. The engines were powering up for the mission to take back the school. Suddenly, something shook the starship.
“What is it?” Sean asked.
Heather Allgood, who stood by the colorful science console, responded. “Lightning from a highly unstable area of the winter storm. Shields are holding…for now.”
Jordan smiled. “Sean, she may try to become the weatherlady of the school. I would watch out if I were you.”
Sean also smiled. “Maybe so. But, you must know—“
Meagan Hall interrupted him. “Sean, you are receiving a transmission…from June.”
Sean stood up quickly in front of the command chair. “On screen.” The ship shook again. The shields were weakened another sixteen percent.
“So, I see you are on your starship.” Sean grimaced at the sight of June in his command chair, in the office of Hueytown High School. “Well, if you try a direct assault, I’ll destroy the school.”
Sean narrowed his eyes at her. “Stand by.” Sean said as he muted audio. “Lucy, sixth indicator to your left, can we beam her into the brig?”
She looked at the console as the ship shook again, weakening the shields. “Negative. The office is being blocked by an isotonic force field.”
Sean smiled and turned around. “You used negative. Cool.” Lucy smiled.
“Um…Sean.” Mrs. Lindsay interjected. Sean saw June waving her hands. “June seems to want to babble some more.”
He quickly turned back around. “Mr. Blackerby, see if you can handle this.”
“Ok.” Sean de-muted the audio. “This is Andy Blackerby, superintendent of the Jefferson County School System. I might be persuaded to lessen the charges if you just give back the school.”
“No!” June yelled. “None of your yolseling deals! June out!”
“Prepare—“ The ship was shaken, more violently than any of the previous impacts. An unmanned console exploded as everyone was knocked off of his or her feet.
“Let’s get moving. 1/6th impulse.” ordered Sean.
“I can’t!” Heather said urgently. “All engines but warp are offline.”
“That’s not all.” Lucy added. Sean got out of his chair and walked to the console she was currently by.
“What is it?”
“The cloaking device is offline. We’re visible!” Sean’s eyes widened.
“Heather, get us into space. Warp nine-point-seven!”
“Doing it now!” Suddenly, the blue sky was gone as the ship shot into warp. Sean began to smile. He then heard another explosion.
“Disengage warp engines.”
The starfield slowly shifted back to a normal, static starfield.
“How far did we go?” Jordan asked.
“One-point-two light years. We have cleared the solar system.” responded Lucy Camden.
Sean glanced at the Engineering console. “Oh, dear.”
“What now?” Jordan asked.
“Our warp engines were damaged by that in-atmosphere burst. Unless we can get it repaired, we can’t go higher than Warp one. That means it will take fourteen months to get home.”
As the news sank in, everyone looked incredulously at Sean, who smiled…

Barbara Lowieque smiled. “According to this, the Hypothetical is no longer on sensors. It has apparently left Earth.”
“He’s planning something. I know it.”
“Could be. But, hey! We do have the school.” Andrew, or Holly, Toidi said.
“Yes. That we do. We should have some fun.”
As the sun fell behind the horizon, a male voice that was amplified by a megaphone was heard. “This is the Hueytown Police. Surrender! We have you surrounded.”
June Gabert merely sighed, turned in Sean’s chair and pressed a button. Outside, one by one, the police officers and cars began to disappear.
“Where did you send them?” asked Brian Diputs.
“Brian, I sent them to Mobile, for a vacation. They needed it.” The office filled with the laughter…of the enemy.

“Captain’s Log. First entry on USS Hypothetical. Automated drones are making repairs on the warp drive as we proceed at the speed of light for home. Now, I know how Voyager feels…

Sean Sporman stood alone in Astrometrics. The sensors were collecting all the data possible. Also, they were up to Warp one-point-four seven. “Computer, calculated time to Earth orbit at Warp one-point-four-seven?”
“Nine months, two days, sixteen hours and forty-seven minutes.”
“Every little bit helps.” Sean said to no one in particular, as he turned to exit. “Computer, where is everyone.”
“All lifeforms are on main holodeck.”
“Thank you.” Sean said, as he exited Astrometrics and headed for the holodeck.
He did not have to walk far. This was a holo-ship after all! He entered to find different people doing different things, but mainly, enjoying themselves.
Jordan Reeves and Mary Camden were discussing religious matters happily. Simon Camden was being chased by…Courtney Gage? How did she get in here? Sean inferred that she was a hologram. Interesting pick, Mr. Camden. Sean thought to himself.
Most of the people were sitting down and talking. However, Lucy Camden was studying a padd and was in a bathing suit. In fact, most of the people, except the boys, were because this was a beach simulation. Sean sat down by Lucy. “So. S-So. What are you reading?”
Lucy smiled. “I was just looking at the specs of the ship. You know the deck layout. What rooms are where? That sort of thing.”
“Coolola.”
Lucy laughed. “Where did that word come from?”
“Just something I got from one of my stories.” Sean could feel Jordan’s glare at the theft of his idea.
“Yes. I’ve been reading those. I particularly like the series where a group of kids design and command a new school, even if it is a little far-fetched.”
“True.” Sean smiled. “By the way, did you hear the good news?”
“Negative.” Sean and Lucy both smiled.
“The repairs have cut three months off of our journey.”
Lucy’s expression did not change. “I could live here for nine months. Replicators, holodecks, friendly people, smart boys.” Lucy stood up and kissed Sean on the cheek as she walked off to greet Brooke Stephens for a round of beach badminton.
Jordan then walked over to Sean. “Ok, Sean, give it up.”
“Give what up, Commander?”
“Dirty diaper.” responded Jordan. Sean snapped his fingers. Jordan had said it first.
“I say again, give what up?”
“The mind control. First, you use it on Meagan and Heather and now that cute—I mean visitor Lucy.”
Sean smiled a devious smile. “Was that what I think I heard, Jordan? The words cute girl came out of your mouth. This must be logged.” Jordan growled at Sean in anger, but Sean merely smiled and skipped off.
Mary Camden then walked up to Jordan. “You know, even if my younger sister is a little boy-crazy, he is a unique kid.”
Mary laughed as Jordan walked off saying to himself; “It has to be mind control. It has to be mind control.”

Sean Two emerged from under a fallen bulkhead to see the gym open, and filled with damage. The remaining holoemitters struggled to produce the complete balconies and cover the damage. Next came Ms. Toomey, who saw a group of stars visible through a hole on the roof.
“We have to get to the Girl’s Locker Room. It’s where a transporter is that runs on independent power. From there, we can get to the secondary office.” Just then, Holly Toidi was sighted as the two ducked under a tarp before they were seen.
“That was a close one.” Ms. Toomey commented.
Sean nodded in agreement then whispered, “All clear.” The holographic doctor emerged, followed by the three blonde girls.
They managed to sneak to the door of the girl’s locker room. Sean Two walked in first. They saw Alexis Stanley applying make-up, who screamed.
Liz Larson smiled. “This is my revenge for the ladybug.” Sean Two could not help but smile. They reached a locker; number ninety-four and Sean Two waved a PADD in front of it. It opened in turbolift fashion to reveal a two-unit transporter and a small control console.
“Ms. Toomey, Doctor, go first.” They stood on the console as Sean Two moved his fingers up and down the console; they were gone in a few seconds. “Tiffany, Liz.” They stepped up and smiled as they dematerialized. “Amy.” The lone blonde stepped up to the console and also dematerialized. Sean Two, without his knowledge, accidentally pressed another button as he dematerialized…

Stacie Tucker smiled as the people began to beam in. “Tell me the school has been retaken and you are here to rescue me!”
Ms. Toomey nodded no. As Amy beamed in, the holographic doctor said. “Where is Sean Two?”
“Computer, where is Sean Two?” asked Stacie Tucker.
“Sean Two was transported out of phase into the secondary office by .003.”
“What does that mean?” Amy asked.
“It means, to put it simply…” The doctor began. “That he can’t be seen by this universe, but he can interact some with ours.”
“Well, now what do we do?” Ms. Toomey asked.
Stacie handed her a PADD. “We plan the ultimate plan.”

Andy Blackerby smiled as the phaser beam missed him. He retaliated by firing back and obliterating his target. The holographic baseball was now a smoking pile of ash.
Suddenly, the ship’s intercom beeped on. “This is the Hypothetical’s automated engineering computer. Accelerating to warp three.”
Cheering filled the main holodeck.
“Computer, what is the estimated arrival time to Earth orbit at Warp factor three?” Sean asked.
“Twelve days, six hours, and two minutes.” Cheering continued.
“Coolola!” exclaimed Lucy. “We shall get home soon! And, now we are at forty-two billion kilometers per hour.”
Sean smiled. “Someone’s been reading her Star Trek encyclopedia.” They both smiled.
“Hey, Sean!” Heather said, smiling her usual beautiful smile, “Look at this!” Heather was standing by an open spaceport. Sean walked over to see many beautiful comets streaking by.
“We’re in the Oort cloud. That means were less than a light year now. Oh, boy! Only twelve days. And, will the National Aeronautics and Space Administration have a feast with this!”
“Who are they?” asked Simon Camden.
Sean stared at him, with his mouth hanging open. “You haven’t heard of NASA!?! Where have you been living, under an asteroid!?!”
“Yes.” Sean breathed a sigh of relief at Simon’s response.
“It’s a rock band!” Sean fell down in disbelief. Jordan rolled his eyes. Most of the girls began laughing as well as Andy Blackerby. Kay Lindsay shook her head. Lucy Camden stomped over to her brother and clubbed him with her purse.
“Ruthie could do better than that!” Lucy then smiled as she calmly walked away toward the place where she had been sitting, catching some sun in the beach simulation.
Sean smiled, turning toward Jordan. “She looks quite nice in that red bikini, don’t you think?”

“Transporters will be online in five seconds.”
Stacie Tucker had formulated the plan and discussed it with the others in the secondary office.
“Doctor, remain here if the plan falls. You may get to be the hero after all. Only beam if we call you, or if we don’t come back in twenty minutes.” Stacie said from the transporter, holding an EMP pulse grenade.
“Transporters online.”
The doctor quickly beamed the five of them out.

The five rematerialized under lunchroom table five. “Alright, ready the EMP pulse grenades.”
As Tiffany, Liz and Amy began to place the grenades, a hauntingly familiar voice spoke. “I’m here to help.”
“Sean Two, the holo-Sean!” Liz ejaculated.
“Shhh! It is I. I’m still invisible, but can affect things. I’ll go and distract them.” Sean Two invisibly walked out of the lunchroom door and sneaked into the office, whose door was open.
He first proceeded to take the phaser from the newly named Brain Diputs and drain it of energy. He did the same with all of the loose phasers.
Then, he came to June and Barbara, who sat in adjacent command chairs in the middle of the office. Using magnified holographic strength, picked up June and began to twirl her around.
“What the yolsel!?”
“No, Barbara! I don’t think this a yolsel!” June screamed as she was put down. Sean Two went to the environmental controls and soon sleep gas filled the office.
Sean smiled over the sleeping Brian Diputs. “Hey, Brian! Did you know Diputs backward is stupid. Pika!” He formed the victory symbol, ubiquitous to Nintendo games and the Poke’mon cartoon and said, “Here we go!”
Sean Two, still invisible ran into the lunchroom. “Get the phasers! The office is ok. June and them will be out for two hours! Let’s take back the rest of the school!” They cheered as Sean Two tapped his combadge. “Doctor, come in!”
“Yes?”
“Come and be a hero, Doc!”
“Thank you! Holograms rule!” Sean smiled as he cut the channel.

In Pine, Peyton Freeman fired her phaser compression rifle at the Emergency Medical Hologram, and…it passed right through him. He flickered slightly, picked up his phaser and stunned her. “One down for the bad guys. One point for the doctor.”
Beside him, Liz Larson prepared to fire a shot on light stun, when she started to hop like a bunny rabbit. Apparently, they had forgotten about June’s second strike of K4 flu. However, Joel Grey, was not affected as he fired phaser shots down the hall.
The Doctor ran behind him and gave him the Vulcan neck grip. He passed out. Sean Two, no longer invisible, smiled at the sight. Then, he turned his attention back to Liz. While most of the students who had been affected by the K4 flu had passed out, exhausted by their craziness. Or, the inbiots had stunned them all.
He quickly checked the Pine Office, which had one replicator in it. “Computer, replicate fifty hypos of the vaccine for the K4 flu.”
A box, complete with starfleet medical markings, materialized. “Ok. Time for super-doc to come to the rescue!”

Sean Sporman smiled as the door opened to the control center of his school.
“This new school looks great! Love the design!” Meagan commented happily. The group of eight entered the holographic simulation based on Sean’s latest design for the school.
Numerous monitors and consoles were active in the expansive room dubbed OPS. “So, this is your design!” Andy Blackerby said.
“Of the control center, anyway.” Sean replied.
“Impressive, Sean.” Kay Lindsay began. “And, I can still be an assistant here?”
Sean smiled. “Of course. Mind if I take command?”
“Take command…principal.” Sean smiled and sat in the chair in the middle. “Everyone, take your stations.”
Sean had discussed this before, and since the stations were plainly marked on their LCARS displays, everyone knew where to sit…except Lucy. However, there was an empty chair close to Sean’s chair and she sat there, complete with her Commander’s starfleet uniform. Simon and Mary wished to go to the alternate holodeck for some reason Sean did not know.
“Jordan will coordinate assistant principal efforts from the Data LCARS console. Meagan and Heather will operate the camera systems from the multi-linked Security panel, which can see every room in the new school. Brooke Stephens will operate the communications array.”
Sean stood up and everyone else did as well. “So, now shall we see the rest of the school?”
“Yes, please.” Andy Blackerby said, as Mary and Simon Camden entered the holodeck via an arch.
Jordan glanced at Sean. “Sean, stop staring at Lucy.” Instead of turning around and clubbing him as expected, Lucy turned around and smiled.
As Sean caught up and began talking with Lucy, Jordan said. “Does anything I say matter? No, of course not! Maybe I should remind him about the school…”

Relieved parents embraced the former hostages with hugs and sighs of relief. Stacie Tucker stood with the holographic doctor in the walkway. Sean Two had been deactivated for the time being.
“Sean will be impressed.” The doctor said. “You saved his school.”
“Yes.” Stacie smiled. “But, I think I should call him.”
“A good idea.” The two walked into the building and then into the office. It was now seven o’clock and darkness would have permeated the building if it had not been for the school’s ceiling lights. “Computer, open subspace transmission to the Hypothetical.”
“Visual transmission open.” The face of Sean Sporman, smiling broadly appeared on the viewscreen.
“Stacie, is the school alright? Jordan just refreshed my memory.”
“Yes. Thanks to some help from your holograms.”
“Cool.”
“Where are you?” asked Stacie.
“We had a little accident and got shot over a light year from Earth. But, at first, it seemed it would take over one year to get back. Now, it seems, it will only be about a week.”
“That’s good. But, who will command the school?”
“Good question. I would say it’s closed because of the winter weather.”
“Well. That has been over for quite a while, but what the superintendent says…”
Andy Blackerby appeared on the screen. “I would guess that at the rate Sean’s drones are repairing the engines, we would be home very soon. So, Hueytown High is closed until we return.”
“Understood.”
“Oh, Stacie.” Sean said. “Thanks and have a good day.”
Stacie smiled as the transmission was cut. She also noticed that the doctor had turned himself off. “Computer, Grey mode, code 456-Tucker-Blue.”
Panels and lights in the office dimmed as she proceeded out of Hueytown High school.

Sean Sporman and Lucy Camden emerged on the bridge of the Hypothetical from turbolift one, both smiling broadly. The other six onboard emerged from turbolift two.
Heather Allgood walked to a console. “Computer indicates we are up to Warp 7.4. ETA to Earth: 47 seconds.”
“My friends,” Sean began, “We have made it back into the solar system with gigaquads of data and all is well.”
Everyone on the bridge was now smiling and holding their breath. Meagan Hall broke the silence. “We’re in visual range…Captain.”
“On screen.” A blue planet appeared that everyone knew.
“I don’t think I’ve seen a more beautiful sight.” Mrs. Lindsay said.
“So right, Kay.” Blackerby commented. There was another period of silence.
“We are now entering Earth orbit.” Jordan Reeves said, as the Hypothetical-class starship entered orbit around the third planet in the only explored solar system.
“Sean,” reported Brooke Stephens. “The Hawking is approaching.”
“A welcome home.” Sean smiled. “Who is—“ The ship was scorched by a phaser blast. “Shields up! Red Alert!”
Red lights began to flash and klaxons began to blare on the Bridge. “Get the shuttle on screen!” The Hawking passed again, firing three shots that did little damage.
“Sean!” Lucy realized. “It’s holographic!”
“What!?!” Suddenly, a holographic photon torpedo slammed into the shields of the holoship. Overhead, a light exploded. “It doesn’t feel holographic. Are the safeties off?” Jordan smiled at Sean’s remark.
Lucy Camden fired the ship’s phasers and the holographic shuttle flickered out. “Great job, Lucy!” Sean said. Lucy blushed and smiled.
Something else shook the ship. “Sean, it’s the Hawking, the real one. Stacie is hailing.” Around the ship, beautiful photon fireworks exploded brilliantly, causing no damage.
“Sean, and everyone else. It is good to see you back. As soon as I realized June had programmed a holoshuttle I came. Mister Morrison is also with me.”
“And, one is scored for our team!” Mister Morrison proclaimed in singsong. Everyone on the bridge laughed.
“I’m looking at your ship. That first hit left a brutal mark on it.”
“It should be ok.” Lucy responded.
“Well, I guess I should dock this thing. It’s a good thing you leave the Hawking cloaked in orbit when on missions with the starship.” Sean smiled, and Stacie’s face was once again replaced by the image of Earth. “Well, friends, let’s go home.”

Stacie Tucker, in the cockpit of the Hawking, looked in wonder as blue tractor beams guided the shuttle into the Hypothetical’s main shuttlebay.
“Wow!” Mister Morrison exclaimed. “This kid sure knows his stuff.”
“Yes. And, he is even nice to my sister, Loren.” responded Stacie. The shuttle landed with a thunk. Stacie sighed. “Now, I can get some sleep.”
“You can…but I want to see this ship…”

June Gabert kicked a familiar wall in frustration.
“Kicking the walls of Hueytown Juvenile will not help anything.” Barbara Lowieque responded. They had been captured again. So, had all of the level one and two agents of the inbiot group.
“Why do you sound more like Sean every time you say something?”
Barbara stared out of the window and did not respond. Just then, two armed guards dragged a kicking and screaming Peyton Freeman into the cell. They quickly closed the door. “They got you too?” asked June.
“Yes.” Peyton responded. “But, I do have this.” Peyton smiled a devious smile as she pulled a type one phaser out of her pocket.
“Great job! Now, fire at the door!” Peyton aimed her phaser at the door and pressed the fire button. Instead of the expected beam of phased energy, a warning light beeped on the phaser. Its power cell had been depleted.
“Arrgh!” June crushed the phaser underfoot, leaving a useless pile of twenty-forth century technology in the middle of the floor. Peyton swept it under her new bed.

“Principal’s Log, Command Day Six, supplementary entry. The school has been retaken from the inbiots, we have returned home and everyone has left the ship. My parents have been informed that I was needed for a special RLC assignment, and have not been worried. Soon, my friends are meeting with me on the Hypothetical…”

Andy Blackerby smiled as he read Sean Sporman’s latest principal log. Suddenly, Timothy Johnson entered the room. “Greetings, Timothy.” Blackerby tried his best to contain his anger toward his assistant. “Did you hear the good news?”
“What?”
“You’ve been demoted to a level-seven assistant. Even Sean outranks you now!” Blackerby beamed as he let out the news.
“You are making a mistake. Sean’s latest boo-boo proves it.” Timothy Johnson was none too happy.
“Boo-boo! Ha!” Blackerby laughed aloud. “Child! What kind of boo-boo!?”
“June Gabert and a smattering of her little allies took over the school. Meanwhile, you and his main friends are thrown one year from this planet by his accident.”
“We were going to crash! What did you expect him to do?”
Johnson acted as if Blackerby never spoke. “This is all wrong. Kids commanding schools with weapons and technology four hundred years more advanced than most of the military technology!”
“It could bring education to its peak! Remember that I could have taken him off the project. But, I didn’t! And, you’ve gotta love those holodecks—“
Johnson stormed out of the door and slammed it behind him. Andy Blackerby turned on his television with his remote control and smiled. “It is really fixed!”

Sean Sporman was sitting comfortably in the Hypothetical when the ship began to shake. Lucy Camden, at the forward station, still wearing her red bikini, turned in distress. “Sensors are detecting a massive displacement wave approaching!”
“Full reverse!” As the displacement wave approached, another starship appeared as the wave dissapated. And, then Sean saw a spacedock, and many other vessels and stations.
“We’re in the future!” Lucy exclaimed with a smile. “Sean! Sean!” Another voice exclaimed…
Sean saw Heather Allgood, wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans standing beside him. “Get out of your daydream, please.” Sean blushed in embarrassment.
“Sure thing, Ma’am. Can I get you a Mountain Dew?”
Heather smiled and nodded. Sean walked over to the replicator as the hum of another transporter matrix was heard. Out of it appeared, Jordan Reeves, longtime friend of Sean Sporman. “Computer, one ice-cold sixteen point nine ounce Mountain Dew, please.” The green bottle materialized and Sean handed it to a still-smiling Heather.
“Sean! Good to see you, Dirty Diaper!” Sean snapped his fingers once again.
“Ok, I’ve got a joke for you!”
“Throw it to us. I’m sure it will go to the dogs…” Heather laughed.
Sean smiled. “Very funny. Ok, how to Scooby Doo say Jigglypuff?”
“I give up!” Jordan exclaimed a little too quickly.
“Riggly…ruff!” Laughter from the three filled the bridge as Brooke Thomspson appeared on the Bridge.
“It was tough to get away from my parents. Wow! So, this is Spormanworld at its finest!” Sean smiled at Brooke’s comment, as she sat down in a vacant chair.
Before anyone else could respond, someone else dematerialized. It was Lucy Camden, in a starfleet uniform…
Sean smiled in shock. “Weren’t Mary and Simon leaving tonight, because of your father’s plans?”
Lucy smiled. “Yes. But, I decided to stay. Why not!? This ship, these nice people, the chance to be in a position of power and of course…the holodecks.” Everyone smiled.
“Glad to have you aboard!” Sean said. Jordan laughed at his unintentional joke.
“Since Allen couldn’t make it, let’s go to the main holodeck.” The five of them entered the turbolift.
“Hey, Sean!” Jordan exclaimed. “What about Meagan?”
“She is in the holodeck, selecting the program.” Sean responded.
The turbolift stopped and they emerged in the cockpit of a Type-seven shuttle, its windows closed. “Greetings, Meagan!” Sean beamed.
“Hi, cutie!” As Sean smiled and blushed, Jordan rolled his eyes.
“So, what do you have to show us?” Heather asked.
Meagan sat down in the pilot’s seat and entered the sequence to retract the window shades.
Sean let his mouth hang open in wonder.
Meagan smiled. “Welcome to Earth, circa 2391.” A massive Federation starbase orbited the planet. Also, starships were docked in skeleton-like dry-docks. Several smaller bases and many orbital habitats also orbited the Earth. Shuttlecraft, travel pods, and sub-orbital spacecraft flew like flies around the beautiful blue planet. Three ubiquitous starships hung one million kilometers ahead.
“Meagan Hall, you have outdone yourself this time!” Sean said.
A console beeped near Lucy. “Captain, the Enterprise is hailing us.”
Sean smiled at Lucy. “On screen.”
“This is Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the Enterprise…would you care to come aboard, Captain?” Sean felt like fainting at the complete starfleet simulation designed by the masterful Meagan Hall.
The shuttlecraft moved toward the center ship, the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-E. Sean and the rest examined the Sovereign-class ship as the shuttle passed by it. On the other side, the USS Defiant hovered, ready for battle. The shuttle turned around as a green tractor beam locked onto it and began to pull it into the now-open shuttlebay…

In the dark of night, Kay Lindsay emerged into the Superintendent’s office, which was fully lighted.
“I heard the good news.” She said with a smile.
“Cool!” The superintendent said.
“Who will you get to replace Timothy?”
Andy Blackerby stood up and smiled. “Who better than you, Kay?”
Kay Lindsay smiled. “So, does it pay well?” Both of them laughed as the superintendent turned on his big-screen television. “Enjoy the new office.”

Sean Sporman passed out very quickly. Lucy, at the science console of the Enterprise, reported. “The enemy ship has released some type of particle that causes all males to faint.”
Meagan Hall smiled. “Computer, revive Sean.” Sean slowly awoke to see Meagan in the command chair. Captain Picard was slumped on the floor.
“They are firing phasers!” Heather exclaimed.
“Return fire! Quantum Torpedoes!” The white torpedoes sliced through the Klingon hull and it exploded brilliantly.
“Meagan saves the day!” Meagan Hall smiled from the Captain’s chair of the Federation flagship.
Suddenly, three forms dematerialized. “First,” A human male with blue hair began, “The motto!”
The woman with the long red hair continued for her friend. “Prepare for trouble!”
“And, make it double!”
“To protect the world from devastation!”
“To unite all peoples within our nation!”
“To denounce the evils of truth and love!”
“To extend our reach to the stars above!”
“Jesse!”
“James!”
“Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!”
“Surrender now or prepare to fight!”
“Meowth, that’s right!” The cat-like animal did a surprising double backflip.
“Now, give us this starship and so we can take all the Poke’mon from Tarcus Seven, Starfleet’s Poke’mon reserve!” Jesse exclaimed.
Lucy Camden popped out her Type I phaser and fired at the Meowth, who was knocked unconscious. Sean, now able to get up, fired at Jesse. However, his shot missed and it hit the viewscreen, causing debris to fly and circuits to explode.
Heather Allgood fired and managed to stun James. Jesse, smart enough to know when she is beaten, tapped her combadge and the three dematerialized.
Sean Sporman gleefully sat in the Captain’s chair. “These are the Voyages of the Federation starship Enterprise. Her mission…to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations…to boldly go where no one has gone before…” Everyone on the bridge smiled as the holographic flagship shot into warp speed.
