Did you ever notice also on how all the shows run 10 and 15 minutes past the hour. I worked in radio and there should be no reason whatsoever unless you are running too many public service commercials about cds or cheap products that a show should run anymore than a minute or two over th hour if even that. I could their job better, and I would fire that Isaac Hayes from doing the voiceovers, he sucks. And what is this, Unreality thing, alot of these storylines are situations that could seriously happen in real life, so where does the unreality come in. I think they should stop there cute promotions like Make your own Sundae, marathons, random acts of unreality and whatever else they think is cute and just play the damn sitcoms, and stop telling us over and over again on the screen Cheers is coming October 7th, I know, and I'm sick over it. Let me guess when you finally get through the marathon, you'll be airing it back to back like you do, stop that! One episode is quite enough each night.

so thats who does the voiceover at Nick at Nite !!! I heard that Dan Ingram ( a very well known east coast dj ) is the voice of TV Land.

As far as shows running past the time they are supposed to end, Game Show Network had the same problem. I used to tape shows from their Sunday night in B/W and a lot times I would end up missing 3 minutes or so because of the time GSN begins their shows.

back to Issac Hayes...sure it the decision by a consulting firm "..you know..you really need this voice"..Just like radio, when I was doing radio in Virginia a few years back the station I worked for paid this guy from Denver $1000 just to tell us what people in Virginia listen too ( how would he know ?? ).
We had this girl who was on the air with us for 10 years til he made a comment that "..she sounds like a slut...fire her ". Which they did, never mind the fact that she was one of the most loved djs in the area and we received hundreds of complaints. But the station felt this man's words were golden.

I have no use for them.
