Is it just me or did Larry Mondello not have an annoying habit of batting his eyes especially when he was trying to get the beaver into some trouble?

No Sami, you're absolutely right!! It was like a nervous tick or something!! Besides always having an apple in his mouth, his eyes twitched a bit!!
