Avatars???

Does anyone have a clue as to where there are a listing of various avatars to choose from?? I see a lot of interesting ones posted on this forum and I'd greatly appreciate any help that I can get. I've checked various search engines without prevail??

An avatar can be any picture that you already have on your computer. You might need to resize some pictures, and the directions for doing so are listed under TJ's post that is at the top of every message board. As far as others on the Internet, I just did a google search, and I came up with many web sites with available avatars. Hope this info helps you.

The only pictures that I have on my computer are personal ones and I would prefer ones associated with the old sitcoms. I like your Dick Van Dyke avatar. Where did you get that one??? When I checked Goggle. com the only avatar links I found we're related to placing them on webpages. I just want one that I can use on this message board.

I got all my Dick Van Dyke pictures from websites about The Dick Van Dyke Show. If you have one show that you like more then the rest, go to websites about that TV show, right click on any picture, and choose "Save Picture As..." Save it on your computer, and then follow TJ's instructions for setting it as your avatar. If you don't know where to find websites about your favorite shows, then go to the link at the top of the message board page (like at the top of here where it says Leave it to Beaver Online) and TJ has a bunch of links at the bottom.

Thanks Christina, I appreciate all your help!! I'm sure I'll have to have it resized cuz those images are usually quite large.
