Ever met a celebrity only to have them get nasty and/or give you the cold shoulder?

My mom years ago told me once that she was at a casino in Atlantic City and notice the man beside her playing the slots was Dick Clark. She asked him for an autograph only to be told what she could do with herself. I wasnt there as I wasnt 21 yet but that is what she told me.

Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa came to my hometown years ago for the Apple Blossom festival ( Melssa was Apple Queen ) this was either 1989 or 1990. Anyway somebody on the local county board of supervisors made a comment to Joan that her dress "..showed to much" or something to that nature which in turned offended Mrs. Rivers. She pretty much slammed our town and both her and her daughter left in a hurry.

2 years later ( 1988 ) Gary Coleman was in the parade. At the time I was living on the parade route, riding by us my cousin yelled "..hey Gary, say to us whatcha talkin bout Willis". Gary turned to us fliped us the bird and said ****you. We were shocked !!! Still have the whole thing on videotape somewhere as I had my camcorder when this happened.

I also got a scene of Hal Linden ( when he was doing Blacke's Magic ) picking his nose.
When he noticed I was videotaping him he stopped in a hurry.

bb...those are interesting stories. I have never been a fan of Gary Coleman's so nothing he does suprises me.

I have only had one encounter with a rude celebrity. I was at the same party that Nancy Kerrigan attended, and she was soooooo stuck on herself. She was rude and nasty, and has absolutely no social skills at all!

Most of the so called Hollywood Famous are a bunch of phoney's anyway . Even on talk shows when they are not suppose to be acting, they do it anyway. They can't be themselves.

That must've been crazy to see Gary Coleman flip the bird and say what he said. A person can only imagine....

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.
