I got my 3rd Diff'rent Strokes tape today, and to my displeasure, both parts of "Arnold's Girlfriend" were cut.

Todd Fuller, if you have got the local station reruns and the N@N copies and they have different edits, please explain to them what is missing so that the tape can be recalled and corrected.

Purple_Eyes, please send me a private email so that I can help things like this happen less and less.

I've heard this about other Columbia House tapes as well (particularly "Good Times"). The sad thing is that some of the people who put these things together don't care enough to verify that they're using the entire original print, rather than the syndication edits.

This is really damaging to Columbia House's reputation. I'm sure not going to spend $25 a tape when they're not doing their homework, and are giving us the same edits we've been seeing in syndication for years.

Amen to that. CHVL did warn us however that due to some copyright problems very few vidoes will be sent edited. It is a waste in some areas. Good Times was edited in some eps I received on video. At least CHVL does give vidoes uncut most of the time.

The tattletale episode of the Brady Bunch tape was also edited.

The episodes I mentioned originally aired as a one-hour episode on 9/21/1979, and it is presented on video in a form where it's divided into two half-hour episodes, cut for time.
