I really need help. Ok i have to do this project thing for my spanish class. I'm supposed to make a poster that promotes learning another language. Besides music and sports, what else can I add to this poster that helps promote learning another language? Please help.....:wave:

There are quite a few areas that you can take a look at for your project. Hispanics have made important contributions to this country in just about any field you could name. Just a few examples:

It was Dr. Severo Ochoa, who in 1959, discovered DNA. For his work in this field, Dr. Ochoa was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physiology.

Hispanics have distinuguished themselves as members of the military from the American Revolution, up through the present day. 38 have won the Congressional Medal of Honor for their valor on the battlefield.

In the labor movement, Ceasar Chevez won world-wide acclaim for his work on behalf of farm workers, and was the founder of the United Farm Workers Union.

You may also want to consider the fact that, according to the last census in 2000, Hispanics are the fastest growing ethinc group in the country. There are approximately 35 million people who identified themselves as Hispanic in the last census.
