Well what can I say? I've been at these boards for almost 6 months now, and during the whole time I've mentioned that I am on crutches waiting for the time when I can walk again. If you don't recall why moo is disabled, I'll remind you:

Dec 16th, 2000 I was waiting tables and someone spilled grease in the middle of the walkway, a busboy didn't clean it up properly and while I was training a new waitress, I went ahead of her and slid on the spill. I landed on my right kneecap and haven't been able to walk ever since. I've been on crutches this WHOLE time, and worker's comp has been paying me for missing my waitressing job.

Well now the time has come and I get to go in for arthroscopic surgery TOMORROW MORNING at 6am eastern time. When I get back (same day outpatient surgery) I'm gonna be druuuuuuuuuuuuugged up! LOL. My away messages will probably show it too. *snickers* So be kind if you find me online ok?

I WAS nervous before, but have a strange calm about it now. Let's just get this over with.

**Gracie the moo, getting ready to be cut up so she can walk again**

(*side note* I am reminded of the movie Sabrina with Harrison Ford when Greg Kinnear said "Sabrina...hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...didth' dry cleaners have yer car?" )

a LINK for you to see that *I* made cuz it's funny, and it helps me remember what I'm gonna be like after surgery... http://www.angelfire.com/celeb2/hansconried/moo.html
ENJOY!

Hey Moo! Hope everything goes ok tomorrow. I'll pray for you tonight so everything goes well. Just think, then you'll be able to be on Broadway so I can come see you play the little Italian chickie there, and then I can come where you are waitressing tables and I can get a free lunch! ;) Anyways hun,

Good Luck!!!

I'm sure everything will be just fine with your surgery tomorrow. I had orthroscopic knee surgery way back when in 1991. There really isn't a scar or anything like that. I have 3 round dots that nobody can see unless I point it out to them. Good luck with your surgery. I can guarantee it will make your knee better. They did put my kneecap back in place :) and I can walk fine now.

Well I know ONE was me...lol...and the other WASNT Lorna, so *shrugs* The one person must either hate me or think it was funny to pick that one... I think it's funny!

**moo...who should GET STUFFED! lol**

P.S.~~~for those of you worried that I'd get offended at how many are telling me to "get stuffed" *snickers* not to worry, I wouldn't have put it up there if I actually worried that people hate me!
OH, but if you pick that, can you post saying it's you? LMAO the SUSPENSE IS killing me and Karli!!!!

Good Luck tomorrow!!!

My aunt just had that same surgery and she's doing fine now. It hurt like hell, but.... As long as you don't go lazy on the knee and never move it like she did, you'll be fine! :D

Hey guys...now that the drugs they gave me intraveneously have all worn off, I'm able to stay awake long enough to post, instead of having my roommate post for me! LOL

My last words before I konked out were "What are you gonna do, crucify me?" Because they pulled my arms out to the sides as I got on the operating table to keep them out of the way. They laughed, and the next thing I knew I was waking up an hour later.

THEN they pumped me with Morphine cuz I was in pain...cool huh? Well when I found the doctor who had operated on me, I asked if he found the problem...AND HE DID!!!!

A year and 2 months later and all there was left in my knee was tons of scar tissue around my meniscus and kneecap, and he said they did a cleaning job! "You should feel a helluva lot better now!" In a week, my stitches come off. Meanwhile, I can't walk on it or use it anyway...and BOY do I miss the morphine now. I'll be takin my painkillers as soon as my stomach lets me not feel nausious and I can hold down a good solid meal instead of just a piece of bread.

Ahh well, back to nap for a bit more. Need me, find me on AIM. And THANK YOU ALL for the well wishes and prayers, I wasn't nervous atall til just before they stuck me with needles, and it was JUST FINE for a surgery experience. I feel loved, thanks! :D

**moo, recovering from a surgery with pain that shouldnt have to happen to a moo!**

 Good one, TJ.
Glad to hear everything went well with your surgery, Gracie. I hope the pain doesn't last too long, but at least it will be gone soon and you'll be able to walk once again;)

Great,Moo! Once you recover, what are you going to do with your crutches? Use them for target practice? give them to a stray dog or mutated rat for a chew toy? Burn them in acid? Eat 'em? Give them to me so I can eat 'em?:)

Glad to hear you are A.O.K!
