Someone responded that 6 years ago, TV Land showed uncut shows. Could anyone provide a list (or more information) about the shows that were shown uncut? Thanks

TV Land airs uncut shows ? I think they'd croak if they did . I have yet to see any show aired by TV Land that wasn't butchered for the almighty dollar ( commercials ) . However, when I Love Lucy comes to TV Land in October, they claim they will show it in it's original form which remains to be seen.

All in the Family was shown uncut on TV Land from October 1998 to December 31, 1999.

I thought I had read that TV Land will show "I Love Lucy" uncut for the marathan they air when the show first joins the schedule, but after that, they'll show edited episodes.

Back in 1997, when I first got Direct TV and was able to see TV Land, it was lot different than it is now. When it began in April of 1996, it prided itself in airing uncut episodes of TV shows with few commercials. What commercials they did air where retromercials. I remember seeing uncut episodes of The Addams Family, Mr. Ed, Green Acres and All in the Family. Slowly over the years TV Land has been sliding more and more commercials in, expecting we the viewers not to take notice.
