I Need to Know Something!! (About Alexandra Moltke/Isles)

I'm a big fan of "Dark Shadows" (I didn't think this belongs on dramas, so it's going here), and the person who played Victoria Winters was Alexandra Moltke (Now known as Alexandra Isles). I've read that in the 1970s she was the mistress of an Austrian count and that she was the center of some murder attempts of this counts' wife (He planned to murder his wife twice so he could marry her). Now, I have a question if anyone has any info on this? It really surprises me cause she doesn't exactly seem to be 'mistress' material.

Boy, I went a long way back in the files to find this one Sean! I see nobody had ever answered your question but I think I can! Yes, she was the mistress of Claus Von Bulow who was accused of putting his wife into a coma by overdosing her with her prescription medicine. I think he was found innocent but the trial was a big deal at the time! Alexandra had to testify. I saw a clip of this on " E The True Hollywood Story." I agree with you . She does not seem the type. But you never know!:eek:

Oh! I forgot to mention that a movie was made about this whole thing. It starred Glenn Close and Jeremy Irons. But I can't remember the name of it! If I think of it I will post it. Glenn Close got an Oscar nomination for it.

I looked it up. The movie is Reversal Of Fortune(1990). Julie Hagerty is uncredited in playing Alexandra Isles.

I was surprised to see Alexandra in the middle of the Claus Von Bulow and wife affair. :eek: You're right she doesn't seem the type, But, it happened so I guess she was................

Since then I've never heard anything about Alexandra..............
