Am I the only one that knew that show sucked and that it would flop??

I thought the show was hilarious and CBS made a big mistake cancelling it.

Bette was a very funny, clever show - but what do you expect from Ms. Midler?

I'd always heard TV critics and stuff saying that 'Bette' was utter rubbish but I'm a firm believer that critics are very seldom right. On this thought, I decided to check the show out for myself (it airs on UK Living in Scotland). I only saw one episode, however I have to say that on this occasion the critics were absolutely right. I'm not at all surprised that this show is getting scrapped - it was the stupidest thing I've seen in a long time!
