From my Newspaper TV Week:
8 p.m. (Monday) on ABC
'Classic TV Bloopers'
Dick Clark dusts off some vintage material to celebrate two decades of hosting blooper shows. The hourlong special has goofs and gaffes from Jackie Gleason, Steve Allen, Jack Benny, and other comic greats, along with outakes from such gone-but-not-forgotten series as "The Cosby Show", "Cheers", "Happy Days", and "Family Ties." There's also footafe of what may be the first screen blooper ever: a bumbled scene in the 1914 Western "The Virginia." Also, no blooper show could be complete without a few oopsies by newscasters and politicians; this one has former presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, and George Bush-the first one.
-------------
To TC Fans, I think there will be some bloopers from this, because Dick Clark attended Somers' LV show in 1979/80, which gave Clark the idea for the show.
