Did anyone watch the 90 meter Ski Jump today? I was kinda ticked off because Adam Malysz (Ski jumper from Poland, my country) lost the gold. I was so sure he would get Gold for us, but during his first jump he messed up and landed kinda rough. Then I knew it was the begining of the end. I read that before the Olympics, he won 2nd place in the World cup, after that German Dude. I was sure he would grab gold, but he ended up w/ bronze, which is not bad, it's still a really high honor just to get a medal, but he should have done better. Anyone see that?

Yep, I saw it. The Simon Ahmman kid from Switzerland won the gold, which he deserved. No offense. But that kid came out of no where to win it.
I saw it. Since I don't have any ties to Poland I wasn't disappointed like you. In fact, I enjoyed watching the kid from Switzerland win. He was so excited when he won! I love to see that.

Yeah, I just watched the rerun at 2:45am. I'm sorry the guy you were rooting for lost. But I gotta agree with Cokies, that Swiss kid had a great jump and really deserved the gold. But it is disappointing when the person you are rooting for doesn't meet expectations.

I thought the Switz kid did a good job. It was a great jump. But sorry the person you wanted to win didn't win :(

Did anyone see the interview with the kid afterwards? It was pretty funny. He couldn't convey in English how happy he was. He was just sort of screaming with joy.

No, I'm not saying that the Swiss kid should have lost, I just said that it was Malysz's fault, because he messed up when he shouldn't have. The Swiss kid deserved to win, I was just rooting for Malysz. (and so was the rest of my block  ) And he should have done better, not that the others should have done worse. And yea, that was funny when they were interviewing the Swiss kid, just a rush of words and he was tounge tied!
Oh, well, there's always next winter Olympics, just 4 more years. The next Winter Olympics are in Torino, Italy!!! Yay!
