TVLand October news; Fandemoniums gone!

Fandemoniums will stop on TVLand in October after the first weekend! More news on that soon!


Tons of shows will be airing on the weekends after Fandemoniums leave! 2 of them I know are "The Monkees" and "The Adventures of Superman" More news coming soon!

Finally, I Love Lucy news! I Love Lucy will debut on TV Land on October 15th with
the 50th Greatest Laughs (Episodes) celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the show.
It is to air 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. each night (Mon-Fri) except the first night (Mon), which
is 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Lucy will air at 9PM everyday on TVLand after this celebration.

But I've been sitting around since May 6th waiting for another Adam-12 fandemonium and now it will never happen! That's probably a good thing since I watched way over half of it and got nothing done.

I am also sad to see the Fandemoniums end on TV Land, but I will welcome the new weekend schedule with open arms. I hope they bring back some other classic TV Programs that I haven't seen in ages. The Monkees is an awesome show, and I saw the group sing this summer in concert, which was absolutely unbelievable!! I'm certainly happy that TV Land put on a Leave It To Beaver fandemonium one last time during the middle of June for us die-hard fans of the show. I was in my glory! It was only a matter of time. They played the same garbage over and over again. They almost never showed anything new.

Hopefully, we can "welcome back" Kotter on the weekend schedule! Along with other shows they have shown in recent fandemoniums including Mayberry RFD and McHale's Navy. Maybe we will also see some shows moving to TV Land such as Laverne & Shirley, Newhart, and WKRP in Cincinnati.

There are negotiations with TNN regarding L&S right now.
I hope they put it on the primetime sked!

From a business pespective, the fandemoniums were a big gamble. If a show wasn't very popular, you lose your audience for 48 hours. More variety on the weekends will permit more people to tune in for a short time. It's not wise to put all the eggs in one basket.

Do you think TV Land was losing ratings on the Fandemoniums, is that why they are getting rid of them?? That's a good point about it being a gamble. If it is an unpopular show, they lose ratings for 48 hours. Actually, I kind of felt it was coming to an end.
