Not that you particularly care, but I just thought I'd tell everybody that I probably won't be posting much, if at all, for quite some time. My parents just left to put my dog to sleep, and I'm really not in a chatty mood and probably won't be for a while. I've never had to deal with losing anybody or any animals that I was close to before, so I'm not taking it well.

In case you want to know, his name was Spencer James Skidboot. He just turned 4 years old on February 3rd.

Well... guess I'll say bye now... that's really corny, isn't it? Saying bye to people on a message board. Oh well.

That's really sad :( My dog had to be put to sleep a couple of years ago. I still miss him a lot, but I have the memories of him. People and pets may die, but they will always live in your heart and your mind as long as you want them to.

I know how you feel. A few years ago I lost my dog and haven't had another animal since. Just reminisce on the good times and I hope to see you back on the baords soon.

Hey, I'm sorry about your dog. He is adorable! But it's better this way, trust me. You don't want him to have to live the rest of his life in pain, do you? Just remember all the good times you had together and be thankful that you have those nice memories. I know how difficult it is to lose a pet, but hang in there.

Ohh gosh i'm sorry about your dog :( i know how you feel... but of my dogs that i had had all my life both had to be put to sleep. i miss them both.. but it's better for them than to suffer.
