That's a good point and it might apply with why some people are unhappy with Nick At Nite but it is certainally not my reason. NAN is just plain running their network wrong.

I happen to love Cheers but having it on four times a night is just plain ridiculous. What's even more pathetic is that NAN goes through cycles where it runs the same episode of Cheers three nights in a row. Kid's Say The Darnest Things should have no place on a network that is supposed to be about the sitcom. Facts Of Life and Diff'rent Strokes did very well for NAN but for some reason they decided to just throw them away. Three's Company also got very high ratings for NAN but it ended up getting pushed back to the middle of the night. There was a time when peoples biggest complaint with NAN was how silly they were when it came to not showing certain episodes because they were "too controversial." NAN has much bigger problems now.

Good point, DJM. While Cheers is my favorite show of all time, I do think for a network that's on less than half the day, they really play it too much. I'd be happy with two episodes a night.

I have no problem with them shifting their demographic a bit (hence, getting rid of pre-'70s sitcoms), but they could at least have the same amount of variety they used to. I'd have no problem with that at all.

I'm sure DJM, myself, and the rest of the Cheers fans of the world would like to see the episodes shown everynight cut in half.

Speaking of cut in half, they DID skip a lot of Cheers episodes... the entire eleven-year run from October to January? Even with two episodes a night, that's a lot of episodes skipped.
