Videos of the moon landing show the flag waving when they put the flag into the moon, but there is no air on the moon... ;) Thats probably one of the biggest clues, anyway check out this site. Its like 26 pages long and has a whole load of evidence that shows the Apollo program may have been faked.

Do you believe it was? I am starting to think it may have been, after seeing all that evidence......

You know I'm beginning to think that the American people and the World were bamboozled. They better start explaining to the public soon because it's really pissing me off. I see noone coming to the forefront to explain this!!! It had better not be a BIG FAT LIE! :bash: :livid: :smash: :angryfire patriot:
Anything is possible and I sure didn't spend the time to read the entire site. I did make a few observations of the style of the author. These things (???) and these things(!!!) show a lot of "I'm shouting real loud, listen to me and buy my movie." He gets fired up about a lot of trivial 'shadows and light' theories. This bit of enthusiastic journalism tilted my excitement away from his: Una Ronald of Honeysuckle Creek, Australia stayed up real late into the night to witness a coke bottle in the live filming of the landing. Well, if Una says so it must be so. Then the authors sentence explaining why most of us never saw the "offending" coke bottle. "Needless to say the footage had been edited and the offending coke bottle had been cut out of the film." I'm sure NASA isn't above keystone cop like foulups, but a coke bottle in the middle of the 'big scene' seems a bit far fetched.
But as I said, anything is possible.

JWillight, you have the most interesting posts... :happyface :happyface :happyface
If anyone saw the FOX special a year ago about the faking of the Apollo moon landing, you know this is a conspiracy of immense proportions.
Do you know why they keep such tight security of Area 51, the secret military base in Nevada? It's not the Ailen spacecraft being kept in the hangers...
Satellite photos of the terrain around Area 51 show the ground is very much like the surface of the moon, rocky, barran, full of craters.
Could this be where the Apollo Astronauts did their famous moon walks?
The truth is out there.
;)

;) I saw that special on FOX a year ago. You see that's why I get so incensed with this topic. I saw that moon landing as a kid and believed it. I just hope that they didn't bamboozle the public like they did with the JFK assasination! :livid: :bash: :smash: :angryfire patriot:
If you really want to have your mind blown with conspiracy theories, pick up a copy of Richard Belzer's book "UFO's, JFK And Elvis - Conspiracies you don't have to be crazy to believe."
Not only is Belzer a great comic and actor, but he's a complete nut on the subject of conspiracies.
Very interesting book.

I did not read the entire site, but I have have read some similar sites, and many sites de-bunking the "fake moon landing" theory.
I will admit though, of all various conspiracy theories out there, this is one that I wonder about the most.
I don't know if it was on this particular site or not, but the one thing that makes me question the moon landing the most is the presence of the Van Allen radiatoion belts. These are belts of radiation between the Earth and the Moon. These belts are supposed to contain intense radiation and are speculated to protect the Earth from radiation present in space. (sometimes they are called the Van Allen shields). Spacecraft that have passed through the belts have shown that there are radiation levels present in space that were so high they exceded the measuring limit of the Geiger counters on the ships. Many scientists say that the levels of radiation in the belts and beyond is life-threatening unless there is sufficient protection. The hulls of the Apollo spacecraft and of the space suits were not sufficient (according to some).
The Van Allen belts are supposedly the reason the Russians never went to the moon, and why no moon landing has been attempted since the first.
Anyway, sorry to bore you with that, especially if it was on that site. To me, the Van Allen belts are the most suspicious factor, not lighting or shadow abnormalities.
The thing that bothers me about the conspiracy, and that prevents me from buying into it completely is that the Flat-Earth Society is one of the major proponents of it. I don't believe the Earth is flat, therefore I kind of think the Flat-Earth people have some crazy ideas, so in my mind that kind of discounts the fake moon landing theory.

Very interesting book. TJL..... If I can't handle the moon conspiracy or the JFK conspiracy than I better not read his book. I'll probably go into spasms..... :happyface  :happyface  :happyface
Oh. does that mean you don't want to hear the one about the abandoned alien citiy on the dark side of the moon?
It's true. They have pictures...;)

No I have never heard of them, but it is a cool name for a band.
So cool, in fact, that the Ultimate Band List lists 4 bands with this name: one formed in Boston in 1968, one from NJ, one formed in Holland by two DJs, and one that is described as a Belgian/Flemish jazz-rock group.
The NJ band's webpage (www.flatearthsociety.com) has over 40,000 hits, so obviously someone's heard of them.
BTW, their official slogan is "Too Punk for Hardcore...Too Hardcore for Punk".
And boy I really don't have much to do tonight since I actually bothered to look all that up.... ;)
Actually I'm shocked you've heard of them kittflynn. Either you're way more on tap with today's youth than most grown-ups, or one of your daughters like them perhaps? Or maybe you like punk music??

They have pics? Ive always heard about that and possibly believed there was some sort of Alien City or Alien base on the moon but they have pics? Gee maybe thats why they faked going to the moon.

No, I never heard of them either. I punched in "Flat Earth Society" and those guys popped up. That hype phrase, that I couldn't remember, cracked me up so I wanted to mention them to you all. But I could like punk music? You never know!

There are numerous pictures of these lunar "buildings" on the web. Richard Belzer's book suggests typing "Lunar Structures" or "Lunar Archeology" into your search engine.
Now, about the face on Mars...:p
