Has anybody else seen this clip from Nick at Nite? I saw it during the Andy Marathon just now!

A voiceover comes on while the clip shows footage from Gilligans & says:

"We Goofed! We forgot to show Gilligans in the Un Real a Thon. Watch on Monday blah blah blah".

I suspect its a put on but you never know with Slick Nick. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/rotflmao.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I didn't see it because I don't watch Andy Griffith. At what point will N@N realize that they goofed for excluding The Facts of Life, The Jeffersons, All in the Family and Laverne & Shirley from the unrealathons? This network never used to insult the viewer's intelligence like they do now.

Believe it or not there are some people that like different sitcoms than you do. TAGS, Gilligan, TC are some of them.

Yea plus, they had to include threes company cause it gets the most viewers, and Brady Bunch so that kids will watch it too....

I think they prob. had planned to show 'Gilligan' the entire time, but due to the lack of episodes, they couldn't make too many themes.

I think the reason they took off I Love Lucy is because Nick at Nite / TV Land want more people to tune into the 50th Anniversary Special on TV Land. If they showed it all through August, people might get tired of it, and wouldn't watch the anniversary special.

Who could get tired of Lucy?

Besides, maybe N@N should consider that not everyone gets TVLand. I don't, and thank goodness I taped all episodes before this once-classic channel dumped Lucy.

I happen to like Gilligan's Island, but to do this, on Lucy's B-Day no less? Ugh.....some appreciation shown to it's fans.

Nothing rude this channel does shocks me. They made me so made in 1997 when they dumped The Monkees in favor of Green Acres! They've sucked ever since.

Nick-at-nite was doing good awhile ago in the ratings, but it seems like they keep on trying to make Nick better..... Well by putting Family Ties and Cheeres on Nick, That will make it worst, Nick already has too many shows!

Excuse me but Cheers is NO WHERE in this state or the next two.I really do like both shows so bug off!And to 'James' I think you are the most brain dead person alive.I mean all the shows you like are stupid.I mean anyone here likes "The Brady Bunch"? I think they are stupid!I especially think they need to find their way off of NAN!I mean Lucy has been here for SEVEN YEARS!And TBB has been here for THREE YEARS!THEY NEED TO GO!I think Hillbillies should have stayed. They only been on NAN for a year but they get dropped.I think Three's Company will help keep NAN together along with Diff'rent Strokes and Facts of Life. And watch how many new great shows from the 80s NAN is going to add. This should be the un-real sked:
It would be a spin-offs thing
Mondays:The Mary Tyler Moore Show Family:
Mary Tyler Moore Show
Rhoda
Phyllis
Tuesdays:The Beverly Hillbillies Family:
Beverly Hillbillies
Petticoat Junction
Green Acres
Wednesdays:The Three's Company Family:
Three's Company
The Ropers
Three's a Crowd
Man About the House
Thursdays:Happy Days Family
Happy Days
Laverne and Shirley
Mork and Mindy
Joanie Loves Chachi
Fridays:All in the Family Family
All in the Family
Jeffersons
Gloria
Good Times
Maude
Saturdays:The TAGS Family
TAGS
Gomer Pyle
Mayberry R.F.D.
Make Room for Daddy
Sundays:The Short Lived Spin-offs:
Flo
Just the 10 of Us
Fish
The Torellis

If you want a staright foward one-show kind of thing let me suggest:

Thank you very much! I thought I was the only one welcoming "Cheers" and "Family Ties". And, I agree with you again, how could people like the VERY overplayed "The Brady Bunch"? I dunno..maybe I just watched it too much on TBS before it came to NAN, but still, I find the show very annoying.

I dislike "Cheers", but maybe my opinion will change when I see it again (One of the Local Stations Where I Live Shows It.....Forgot which one), but I really want to see "Family Ties". I'm gonna tape the marathon......but hey maybe I'll hate it!

JT, I am sorry but YOU are the one that needs to "bug off". I Love Lucy has been a Nick at Nite favorite ever since the show debuted on the channel in 1994. Who cares if the show has been on there for 7 years, so what? The Andy Griffith Show was on TBS for nearly 20 years which is way longer than ILL on N@N. My point is that I feel Nick at Nite should keep all of the fans favorites (MTM,DVD,The Lucy Show,Jeannie,Bewitched, Happy Days,Mork & Mindy,Laverne & Shirley, Three's Company,The Munsters,The Addams Family,I Love Lucy,The Brady Bunch,Gilligan's Island,Dennis the Menace,Rhoda,Bob Newhart Show, ect)from the 50's, 60's, and 70's like in the beginning when it began in 1985. By Adding newer shows like Cheers, Family Ties, Cosby Show, Roseanne, ect is basically making Nick at Nite a non-classic tv channel. Nick at Nite should be a Classic TV Sitcoms Channel rather than a "dump" of newer shows.

Agreed! Full House is another one that doesn't belong on Nick at Nite.

Yes! who do they think they are adding 80's shows, I'm already sick of those cheers commercials! And when they say nick at nite is being taken over by the fox network that is very annoying and what is he carrying a purse? They don't even show the classic 80's shows like newhart or something! And if they want to be 80's why don't they show archie bunkers place and lou grant. And then they're going from 70's to 80's to 90's in 3years what's next! shows that are stil currently on the air! And full house how annoying! And roseanne talk about overplayed Its been in syndication ever since it ended! They think this will get good ratings, there must be more stupid people than I thought!

Personally..I think you are being selfish. Just because you don't like the new programming doesn't mean that other people do too. You are not thinking buisness-wise..the classic shows will not get the ratings...the "new" classics will. Look at how well NAN is doing in the ratings...do you think it was due to I Love Lucy? Or All in The Family? No..its was because of Three's Company and Differn't Strokes (newer shows). And think about..I mean, young children watch NAN, and do you think they want to see an old black and white sitcom? No..they want to see newer things...things that are closer to their time.

And..btw, most of the shows that you have named that need to be on NAN have ALREADY been on NAN...their time is up. Its time for programs that have not been on NAN, newer things.....

These shows aren't new classics, they aren't classics at all they're just plain stupid!

You guys are nailing this. This is very true. I agree. Full house I can accept as a NAN show but I would wait another 7 years before adding the show. I did get Cheers on my local station. I really wasn't into the show too much. I preffered Taxi over Cheers.

Roseanne coming to a Nickelodeon network?Uh........No! HOw many eps will they have to skip. Don't get me wrong I love this show, but it is not NAN material though. TBS can keep this one. BTW a few years back I was teasing my brother about Roseanne coming to TBS and was only kidding. The next thing I know I see a promo for the show on TBS from 1998. I'm like Dang! Then I make a joke about Roseanne coming to NAN last year on the board and then Blam! Let the Oxygen network take this one.

I don't get it......why did Nick-At-Nite ever call it an Un-Realathon when we deal with these situations everyday?

anyone know the current ratings for the shows on now? I can't stand cheers, cosby I have on once in awhile but it's just to corny, Coach doesn't interest me. None of the 80's shows besides the facts of life really interested me. All in the family is now being pushed back to 2am soon for some goofy 80's show.

In a few years, watch them add a Nick Snick on Saturday and Sunday with the Fresh Prince and shows like that.

Here's what N@N needs to do Take of the supid ass Cheers and Cosby shows and put on I Love Lucy,Laverne and Shirly,4 Eppies of Three's Company lol,Facts of life,Happy days,I Dream of Jeannie,The Ropers and Three's a Crowd i mean who wants to watch 7 eps of Cheers Coach and cosby??? Where i live Three's Company comes on at 2:00 in the morning and sometimes i cant stay up that late to tape it

Freakzilla

What N@N needs to do is keep the shows they have now and quit doing the double takes. Just one episode of every show and repeat that episode later. Of course, that is what N@N used to do and works out better for all the shows.

Here's my schedule, Sunday-Thursday

9 p.m., 1:30 The Cosby Show
9:30, 2 a.m. Family Ties
10 p.m., 2:30Cheers
10:30, 3 a.m. Coach
11 p.m., 3:30 All in the Family
11:30, 4 a.m. Three's Company
12 a.m., 4:30 The Brady Bunch
12:30, 5 a.m. Happy Days
1 a.m., 5:30 Charles in Charge

All the times are eastern.

On Friday and Saturday, the first airings of Cosby and Family Ties would be skipped. The schedule would go straight from the kid's shows to Cheers. That would keep the schedule a bit more stable and less confusing. No one likes to tune in for Cheers and see Cosby.
