We desperately need a new Classic TV Network! Not TV Land 2, or Nick @ Nite 2, a company that will LISTEN to the fans and play good shows, and not put popular shows at bad time slots, etc...

Who agrees? :D

Here in Canada, we have not one but 4 Classic TV channels but 2 of them are only available on digital cable. Those would be DejaView and TV Land Canada. The freebies are CTS, which many of you should be familiar with by now, and PRIME, which has an excellent lineup on Saturdays but during the rest of the week it insists on airing awful junk like "Roseanne" and "Who's The Boss?" so naturally I try and watch it only once a week. At the moment, on Sat., PRIME is airing the first season (in black and white) of "The Beverly Hillbillies" which I'll keep you abreaset of later this week. Some of PRIME's other shows can also be seen on DejaView every day. For more details on Canada's classic TV networks you can visit CTS at www.ctstv.com and TV Land Canada's schedule can be found at:

nickatnitetvland.freeservers.com/tvland/tvlandcanada/schedule.htm .

PRIME and DEJAVIEW don't have a website yet but if you want to know more about them let me know and I'll see what I can find out for you.

I recently upgraded to digital cable and discovered the Goodlife TV network. And although it's not purely a classic tv network, it does air classic shows like 'Make Room for Daddy', 'Ozzie and Harriet', and 'The New Dick Van Dyke Show.' So, at least some other networks are trying. :)
