Correct me if I'm wrong, it seemed like (especially when the influence and/or impact of TGIF on ABC started to dry up) up until recently, the networks are aiming more for either shows concerning tight packs of typically adult friends, office based shows, or even the idea of dragging out a relatively major star (e.g. Bette Midler, John Goodman, Geena Davis, Michael Richards, Jason Alexander, etc.) to headline:
ABC:
*My Wife & Kids
*According to Jim
Fox:
*The Bernie Mac Show
*Grounded for Life
*The Simpsons
*Malcolm In the Middle
*Family Guy (well before it apparently got canceled)
NBC:
*None as of right now unless you want to count recently canceled shows like Daddio and the alleged Malcolm... rip-off called Tucker.
CBS:
*I guess stuff like Everybody Loves Raymond and Yes! Dear can in a way, be considered to be family centric. I only say this because of the presumably lack of sigificant kid interplay.
UPN:
*The Hughleys (of course, a refugee from ABC)
*The Parkers
*One On One
*Smackdown (just kidding)
WB:
*Reba
*Raising Dad
*Maybe it's Me
