By now you've no doubt seen a few of my posts where I give out a TV schedule for a specific week with the heading:

(name of show) CTS schedule (Date and Time)

followed by that week's episodes.

It never occured to me that maybe some of you don't know what CTS is or what it does so I will now explain it to you. (I only hope I have to do this once. All queries in the future will be sent back to this link.)

CTS is a television network that is based in Canada, in Burlington, Ont. to be exact. The letters CTS stand for Crossroads Television Systems. If I were to compare it to a similar US channel, I would guess that it would be a lot like Hallmark or Oddyssey. The bulk of its programming is of a religious nature, catering mainly to the large Christian community in Southern Ontario, but it is its self-proclaimed "family-friendly programming" filled with many old, and sometimes recent, sitcoms, including many that you can't see anywhere else, that make the station worth watching. This has been its strength from Day 1, when its shows included all 12 seasons of "My Three Sons", including most of the black and white episodes, and those from the final season and a half when Robbie left the series. Today, you can see great stuff like "The Lucy Show", "Family Affair", "Family Ties", "Happy Days", and "Leave It To Beaver".

And that, in a nutshell, is what CTS is all about. Keep looking for more of my schedules each week. For more info, you can catch its website at:

and tell the good folks there how much you like their shows, and even suggest your own ideas if you wish. Don't worry, they will listen!
