CBS has cut back the amount of episodes from 22-18 and it will return in March-April. There's still a chance it could appear on the Fall schedule but it doesn't sound too hopeful. Here's the article...

I wish they would stop dicking around with this show and put it on a regular time and schedule. This is one of the best things CBS has going for it. They don't seem to realize it at all. This show is extremely well-crafted, the jokes build on each other, the performances uniformly terrific (Cloris Leachman esp.). This is a wonderful "feel good" show.

CBS better not cancel this show; Ellen's first series was unfairly canceled, and it would be unfair to cancel her new show.

I'm going to be royally pissed if they cancel this show. This is the best thing CBS has going for it. Why can't they put this show on a night where it can get exposure and KEEP it there so it can build an audience? Sticking this show, or any new show for that matter, on Friday night when few people are watching is stupid. This show deserves a good time slot. As an infant show, it needs a good time slot to survive. This ain't rocket science. Why don't they get it? I'm so frustrated. And I miss this show sooo much!
