Laverne and Shirley Sunday
The Facts of Life Mondays
Three's Company Tuesdays
Diff'rent Strokes Wednesdays
And
Party Crasher Thursdays

This would be my lineup, with a marathon each day:
Monday: The Brady Bunch
Tuesday: The Wonder Years
Wednesday: Happy Days
Thursday: Laverne & Shirley
Friday: Perfect Strangers
All of the shows would be shown uncut and unedited (unless controversial material were "doctored")

As for being unhappy with the N@N lineup, I kind of feel that way myself since the only show currently on worth watching is "The Brady Bunch." None of the shows being added this fall appeal to me at all.
(Thank God for TVLand!)
Nick will probley get worst in the fall as they are adding Cheers to their line-up. I don't understand why they are bringing Cheers now to their line-up whereas they could have purchased Archie Bunker's Place, Silver Spoons, Webster, and Punky Brewster to the roster. They could show Max Headroom and Side Kicks (1986-1987) to a weekend line-up. Cheers plains sucks. In a bar, people getting drunk. Sorry, I never liked Cheers. Don't care it lasted 11 years. I never liked it. Nick also needs to get rid of shows most people would rather not watch anymore like Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, Laverne & Shirley, and Beverly Hillbillies. Here's a line-up they should have listing the shows they will have in the Fall 2000, with likely Gilligan being bumped off the list.
All times in CDT form:
7:30p.m. - Brady Bunch
8:00p.m. - Diff'rent Strokes
8:30p.m. - Facts Of Life
9:00p.m. - Cheers
9:30p.m - Cheers
10:00p.m. - Three's Company
10:30p.m. - Three's Company
11:00p.m. - All In The Family
11:30p.m. - Jeffersons
12:00a.m. - I Love Lucy
12:30a.m. - Beverly Hillbillies
1:00a.m. - Laverne & Shirley
1:30a.m. - Cheers
2:00a.m. - Three's Company
2:30a.m. - All In The Family
3:00a.m. - Jeffersons
3:30a.m. - I Love Lucy
4:00a.m. - Beverly Hillbillies
---------------------------------------------
Here is what would be a better schedule starting Nick at 7:00p.m. like the old days of Nick and ending at 5:00a.m. and adding the 1980's sitcoms with the 70's
7:00p.m. - You Can't Do That On TV
7:30p.m. - Diff'rent Strokes
8:00p.m. - Silver Spoons
8:30p.m. - Punky Brewster
9:00p.m. - Webster
9:30p.m. - Facts Of Life
10:00p.m. - Three's Company
10:30p.m. - Jeffersons
11:00p.m. - All In The Family
11:30p.m. - Archie Bunker's Place
12:00a.m. - I Love Lucy
12:30a.m. - Andy Griffith
1:00a.m. - You Can't Do That On TV
1:30a.m. - Diff'rent Strokes
2:00a.m. - Silver Spoons
2:30a.m. - Punky Brewster
3:00a.m. - Webster
3:30a.m. - Facts Of Life
4:00a.m. - Jeffersons
4:30a.m. - All In The Family
---------------------------------------------
Weekend Schedule
7:00p.m. - You Can't Do That On TV
7:30p.m. - Sidekicks
8:00p.m. - Max Headroom
8:30p.m. - Sledge Hammer
9:00p.m. - Hunter
10:00p.m. - Facts Of Life
10:30p.m. - Diff'rent Strokes
11:00p.m. - Three's Company
11:30p.m. - Jeffersons
12:00a.m. - All In The Family
12:30a.m. - Archie Bunker's Place
1:00a.m. - You Can't Do That On TV
1:30a.m. - Sidekicks
2:00a.m. - Max Headroom
2:30a.m. - Sledge Hammer
3:00a.m. - Hunter
4:00a.m. - Facts Of Life
4:30a.m. - Diff'rent Strokes
Now that's a real schedule of strong shows that are very appealing for all ages. Cheers? Yuck!

OK first don't you think adding 'Hunter' would kill the whole "all sitcoms" thing?I mean Hunter's on TBS.And what do we care about some one season show? And only 1 TC?TC RULES!CHEERS RULES!This is my NAN sked that I would like to call 'The 70/80 Network' no oldies! No currenties!

I'll have that EVERY night!
I am disappointed with the line-up as well. I hate the Andy Griffen show. I cant watch that show. I hate it. I have never and will never. Get rid of both TAGS. I also hate Gilligans Island. Nick at Nite needs to get some reorganzing going on here. I here it is getting Cheers this fall. BIG mistake if you ask me. I like Cheers, it is funny. But it is syndicated enough right now. I think N@N should get rid of Gilligans Island, the Brady Bunch and the Beverly Hillbillies and keep
the Facts of Life
Different Strokes
Threes Company
the Jeffersons
I love Lucy
Lavern & Shirley
and bring back ALF and 227. I miss the days when Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Dick Van Dyke, Bob Newhart, Taxi, Happy Days, Lavern & Shirley, I love Lucy, the Munsters, Mary tylor moore and Rhoda were all on together. I loved Nick at Nite back then, thats when it was good.

What's the love affair with Gilligans gaining the time slot Mon-Thur?

Now it must be said I've only seen Gillgans 10 million times. Maybe Nik at Nite's giving it a send off.
Must See http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/tv.gif Three's Company!! Amen.

I fully agree with you! But I like "Gilligan's Island" so it doesn't matter......but they're playing "Gilligan the Godess", the worst GI episode ever. Worse then the Oliver Curses!

It's like last summer I loved when they did Gilligan Tuesdays and I was very dissapointed when they didn't have Gilligan's on there Block Party Summer un-real-a-thon thing. Yay!

I agree. Nick was a good network back then. Now it's trying to destroy itself.

If N@N would do block scheduling, they could show all of these great shows and still keep the others.

Me neither, in my opinion "Cheers" is so BORING!!! I cannot understand why they are not adding "Perfect Strangers" like they said a while back they would.

Amen. The only good show left on N@N is "The Brady Bunch." Gone are "Happy Days," "Laverne & Shirley," and "The Wonder Years." Those were great shows! Why didn't they keep them longer?

N@N has been full of false promises. They said they'd add "Perfect Strangers", "The Ropers", and "Three's a Crowd" but they never did

I think that Three's Company (and Diff'rent Strokes and Family Ties) are the only reasons for NAN.
Here's how I would have it:
ALL TIMES CENTRAL
8pm:The Facts of Life
8:30:Family Ties
9pm:Three's Company
9:30:Laverne & Shirley
10pm:Diff'rent Strokes
10:30:Happy Days
11pm:FOL
11:30:FT
12am:TC
12:30:L&S
1am:DS
1:30:HD
2am:FOL
and so on.

I think we all agree that TPTB at N@N are pretty clueless
when it comes to what fans REALLY want!
I mean I think most of us want more VARIETY of shows and
not just the same 4 or 6 shows every night.
Also why do they put a show like TC on so late?
I'd love to see TC put back in the 9:00 slot myself.

You see, I am not a fan of FOL (thank goodness they took it off.) Diff'rent strokes, Family Ties and so on. They do have BB on!:talk:

I wish Nick at Nite would go further back in its history and just air the classics (it once aired) from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. I don't see why they gotta air all of the newer classics such as "Cheers".
To me it is pointless.

I like Cheers, but I agree that NAN is not the place for it, esp. when I can see it on practically every local station that I have!
I think it would be neat if they would start an hour earlier (like they used to) with 50's programs for an hour, then an hour of 60s shows, etc. etc. through the 90s and rotate the schedule every now and again.

To me, they're not even classic yet. I mean, do you consider a 1982 Chevy Citation "classic"?? Okay, bad example, Citations will never be classic. But my point is that cars from the 80s aren't "classic" yet, so why are TV shows?

Cheers is not just about people getting drunk all the time, people rarely ever get drunk at cheers. I really like Cheers and I think its a funny show. I'm glad they added it to n@n because I don't get it on local stations at all. Its not completely a classic yet but I still think its a good show. N@N Is going to be adding Full House and Roseanne....are those classics? Thats pretty poor they could be adding a lot better shows.
