For best adaptations, I would say:

both Brady Bunch movies...I loved all of the inside jokes and references to the original series. I thought it was a great touch that when Cindy ventured outside the Brady fence, all of a sudden you heard hard rock/grunge music playing, and the Dittmeyer kids would start cursing...hysterical!!

I also enjoyed (I didn't think I would, because I hated the original series) the Charlie's Angels Movie...as ridiculous as it was, it did have a pretty good cast.

As for the worst, there were a few, but off the top of my head, I'll say:

Lost in Space (I know, not exactly a sitcom, but in a way, it was). Ugggghhh

Leave it to Beaver - There isn't a child actor out there today who could ever measure up the the charm and natural talent of the Mayfield kids.

The Little Rascals - I loved the original Hal Roach shorts, but the idea of kids from today playing Spanky, Alfalfa, Darla, etc. just makes me want to kill anyone that was associated with this feature.

I'm sure I'll think of some more good and bad ones, and when I do, I'll be back... c ya

"The Untouchables", "The Fugitive", and "The Addams Family" were great.

"Leave it to Beaver" was awful -- poorly-cast and poorly-written. What the writers did to those characters was a crime (Ward was so smarmy). LITB was a product of its time, and never should have been updated.

I agree that the Leave it to Beaver movie sucked. They should've just left it alone. All the actors in the movie were SO boring! They just could not beat the actors from the tv show.

Best would be The Adams Family. The movies where just able to capture the *exact* same insanity that the original series had been.

Worst woudl have to be The FLintstones movie. Of course, if I had ever seen the Beaver movie, I'm sure I would be agreeing with everybody else.

McHales Navy was awful as a movie and they shouldn't have done a Dennis the Menace sequel. Josie and the Pussycats didn't do well but Mission Impossible and M.I. 2 did.
