Penny Or Bridget Hennessy & Leonard Or David?

Be Honest, when watching The Big Bang Theory, do you still picture Penny as Bridget Hennessy from 8 Simple Rules? The same question is posed about Leonard Hofstadter, do you still picture him as David from the sitcom Roseanne? Or are they now and forever in your mind Leonard & Penny?

Yeah I admit when I've watched TBBT I can't help but see Galecki as David. He still looks pretty much the same even though he's 36 now!

I don't really watch TBBT that much (yet!), but I guess I'm more apt to think of Kaley as Bridget since she still looks the same. David looks so different now, though!

David looks the same to me as well. When Sara Gilbert guest starred on TBBT and she interacted with Leonard (David), I could not help but to see David and Darlene over again as they were on Roseanne.

I like Johnny in both but I would have to say David just because he did such a good job on such a classic show. As far as Kaley in concerned, I would hang out with Penny any day of the week over Bridget. Bridget was so shallow and narcissistic that I found her revolting.

I grew up watching Roseanne so it is hard for me to accociate Johnny Galecki as David Healy, even now 20 years later it is still impossible for me not to see him as Darlene's subservant boyfriend.

I really didn't watch much of Simple Rules so Kaley is Penny, but Johnny is David Healy to me still. lol

I didn't watch Kaley Cuoco on 8 Simple Rules either. The first thing I ever saw her in was The Big Bang Theory so she will always be Penny to me as well. :)
