There will be no reunion

I was planning on writing a Roseanne reunion special, but after talking with Roseanne, I have decided to put that idea on the back burner.

Roseanne has said numerous times recently that she would love to do a reunion. However, she told me today that Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner who own the rights to the characters "refuse" to allow such a reunion. They have tried in the past as well, but with no consent from the duo.

Really crappy news in my opinion! I'd love to see a reunion! Especially after the EW photos, everyone looks great! I think it would be a blast. Maybe we need to start a petition!

That is a real shame because I am sure they would all love to come back again and play those characters again. Carsey-Werner don't know anything of what they are doing denying such a golden opportunity like this. What reason would they have not to do this? Not unless they just don't want to work with Roseanne again after how difficult she was to work with during the show's run which I can understand I suppose. However, despite the fact that she may be a pain in the butt to work with, Roseanne is a comical genius, she knows how to take the simpliest joke and turn it into something hiliarous!

That makes me mad. I mean GROWING PAINS has two reunion movies and Roseanne, one of the greatest shows of all time, can't even get one?

I would love to see all the cast back and I bet they'd all be open to it.
