But clearly, folks weren’t too interested in the return of Desperate Housewives: The beginning of the end for the ABC drama only posted a 3.1/7 and 9.7 million viewers — its lowest premiere ever. Oops!

Thats pretty shocking, honestly. I wonder if people have given up on the show considering the show is going to end this year anyway. Maybe people didnt want to wait until the show ended and jumped ship early. Very surprising.
That is a shame. I didn't get a chance to watch it but I did record it.

I did think the episode where Lynn's sister made a 1/4 of the show appearance did nothing for the plot.

I watched is the first season, lost interest in the 2nd, and never watched it again and ironically, I am actually watching it this season.

I was a bit confused that the Scavo boys have gotten younger. A few seasons back the twins were in college and they had an older brother. Now the older brother is 16. Maybe a new writer on the show has appeared. Bree's daughter has 5 year old son so she must be mid 20's

This happens to all great long-time shows...what storylines to write next. It's a shame that this year is it's last.
