Since there is the Children of the 80's, I got to be a Child of the 90's.
The things that define my generation from my point of view:Some of them are hard to admit that they've had an affect on my generation...
Saved by the Bell, 90210, Snick, Power Rangers(sad, but true), MTV Beach House, the whole damn pop movement, Generation Next(Pepsi), Harry Potter(more for the youngins, but still relevant since a lot of my peers as well as myself read the books), Nirvana, Gangsta Rap, Grunge, Britpop, Bad movies that make way too much money, those Giga pets, Tickle-me-Elmo, Jnco's, Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie and Fitch, Flares, all thsoe early to mid 90's family comedies(Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step...)
80'S RERUNS. They have had more of a profound affect than one would think...

Where did you find those Bootsy????? I LOVED those cookies. I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and they didn't believe me that those cookies ever existed. Now I can show her. :)
For the record, my first gaming system, which I still play with by the way, was the Atari. Those games rocked. :) DK, Pitfall, ET, Pong, Tank, Galaxia, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man Jr. etc...

Hey, always glad to help, even when I don't know I'm helping, lol. I got them from www.x-entertainment.com which is a very silly site which has all sorts of silly articles and things about stuff from our childhood. They also listed some other foods of the past, like 2 flavored Bubble Yum, and Bonkers.

My first gaming system was my late, great, beloved Commodore 64. But I had friends with Ataris, which we still play with sometimes, and my boyfriend still has an Intellivision, which still works, but I've only played that like once. I think one of these days I'm gonna get my hands on an old Commodore...they sell for around 20 bucks on eBay.....my dad still has all the old games...on 5 inch floppies....remember those??

Okay here is the joke about Weebles.
There was a farm that had a few bulls and a bunch of cows. One day a big wind came and blew all the cows over. The bulls just rocked in the wind. The cows looked at the bulls strangely but went about their business.
A week goes by and an even stronger wind comes that not only knocks the cows over but it pushes them to the next field. The bulls, however, are just rocking in the wind. Now the cows know there is something going on, they just don't know what yet but they aim to find out.
About a week later, a tornado comes and blows the cows 4 farms over. It takes them a week to walk back. When they get there the bulls are still in their same spot. The cows just can't take it any longer so they walk up to the bulls and one of them asks, "How come all this wind doesn't affect you bulls any and we cows go flying into next week whenever there is a strong wind?"
The bulls look at the cows and respond, "We bulls wobble but we don't fall down." :rotflmao:  :rotflmao:  :rotflmao:

I never got into Jelly shoes much either. My mom bought me a few pairs, but they really hurt my feet!
Ooopsy, demon typos....I just got so excited writing my list I overlooked that...I'm surprised I didn't have more typos...though I did think it was one word, with the "C" capitalized (what do I know...I never really watched it...I was more of a Voltron kid myself)
That joke was great!! Of course I saw the punchline coming, since I knew it was a Weebles joke, but still....can't wait to tell some of my friends!

Yeah, I still have a 5 inch floppy drive too. Acutally, my drive is a combination, with both the 5 inch and 2.5 inch floppy drives on it. As long as it keeps working, I'm always going to use that drive, even though I never use 5 inch floppies....it's a relic, I can't just trash it! :D The only problem with it is that it takes up the whole face of the computer...a slot I could use for a CD burner or something....but oh well, I'll cross that bridge if I ever get a burner!

No, lol....I meant it takes up the whole horizontal face, not vertical. Like the drive is the same width as my CD-ROM. So I am using up one of my big slots with it, whereas I could have like a CD burner or a DVD drive there. (I only have 2 big slots). Then I have 2 little slots, which are meant for 2.5 inch floppies, but I'm not using either of those. But either way, yes, my computer is stumpy and short with a small face. :D
